    Hi guys,

2 weeks ago all my sites, arround 20 websites were attacked by malware (iframe injection).
At that time my sites were ranked in the first page of google for many keywords at least for 6 months.

I needed almost 10 days to clean up all my sites and ask google to validate it again.
Now google says that everything is clean.
After three days that the sites were clean, they were exactly where they were on google SERPs... after three days all google rankins drop... now my sites are like in page 10 for the keywords I usually was the #1 in first page for 6 month.

Before I was receiving arround 2,000 visits per day count all sites, and now it is arroung 200 visits, all my ernings droped very much..

    Why my ranks droped?
Why it happenas after the malware were removed?
How can I recover my google rankings?

The drop in the ranking happend on June 25.
My sites were cleaned on June 23. So I received the same amount of visitorr for 2 days and after that, it is gone.

My vists and adsense earns decrease like 90%
    thanks in advance

Maybe while google was in there looking at things, they saw something they didn't agree with and you got a manual penalty (thin content/scraped/ad-to-content-ratio/doorway pages/excessive unnatural links, etc.)

Or, maybe, it's all coincidence and panda b!tch slapped you for any of the above reasons.

    Hi ldsierra,

Did you serve any other ads on your site, like clicksor or something. They may show ads using iframe which might inject malware.

However coming to your specific problem.

    1) This might be a simple google dance and you can wait for a week or so.
    2) Meanwhile check the malware reporting sites like mcafee site advisor, kaspersky and so on. Google do pick reports from these sites, and if someone has reported your site, then you have a problem.
    3) If nothing seems to workout, change the title of your website and change the internal linking structure (like related posts, popular posts and so on in the sidebar)

Hope you get your problem sorted. All the best

    Thanks ajithrocksca..

IN my websites I have only adsense.

I think my computer was infected with malware and the FTP software transmitted it to my hostting and infected all my sites... :(

I do not think that I am in the google dance, because my sites were in the #1 inthe last 6 month, and suddenly they droped just after the malware infected the sites...

I have already checked all my sites and also google webmaster says that my sites do not have any malware anymore.

Some guys told me that they passed by a similar situation and the ranks droped by 1 or 2 weeks and after that the ranks returned... lets see.. Tomorrow it will complete 1 week that my ranks droped.

I wil try to do the advice you told me, change titles and link structure.

I will keep you guys informed.

If somebody has any other advice or feedback, please let me know.

    thanks

Best bet is to remove all bad code and notify google through webmaster tools. I had malicious code injected to a website and cleared everything this way. Ranking never dropped just had the warning on site.

    Hi xollls,

I did exactly what you said.. I removed the iframe from my sites, submitted to google reconsideration..
    google removed the malware alert..
sites were ok for 2 days.. and after that the rankings droped...

Maybe give more time for rankings to settle back to position. Wouldn't hurt to continue on/off site SEO.
