I've found a few domains that have some really good backlinks, and the backlink profile would be very solid, but these domains have also been spammed pretty hard (lots of anchor text like "cheap ugg boots" or "oakley sale"). So I was thinking maybe there is still a way to use these domains, and get some of the link juice without having my money site punished from all the spam links. How would you use a site like this? Or would you just drop it? I was thinking about having it as tier 2 pointing to a tier 1 web2.0, maybe doing this through a 301 redirect, what do you think about this? Would it provide any value or just make it all worse?

There is a reason why all proferssional grabbers, registering every domain with a half-decent backlink profile, skip them. Wouldn't touch it with a stick.

Don't take them, they've been pretty spammed to death. Someone beat you to it.

Or you could test one and see how it works on a new domain.

Buy new domain for spammed term.
Then build a page or 3 site for spammed term.
301 spammed domain onto new domain.
Sprinkle some backlinks on spammed domain.
Watch, learn and report back to us with your findings.
