making use of adult traffic

Hello fellow hatters,

So I've recently registered an adult domain which is a typo of an adult tube site with an average of 500k UV/month and I've just let it sit on 'Pimproll' using their hostedtube feature and I get around 3k UV/month without any SEO or promotion. The traffic is simply from people who are either in a hurry to get some quick action or those with lazy/fat fingers. Yes, I joke alot.

Sure it's great not having to do the heavy lifting but I'm barely getting pennies from the amount of traffic. I know most would say Adult sites/traffics are dying but being a noob in IM, I'm willing to dip my toe in the water to test out how deep the Adult world is. I just need some advise regarding the direction to go to. I'm willing to put in the effort.

Should I
-Manually create a tube site with my own ads?
-Sell the traffic that I'm getting
-Sell the Domain
-Create a micro niche adult site(even tho the domain name is rather generic)

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

It's really not a ton of traffic. When I was doing quite well in this niche for a novice, I was averaging 3k UV/day per site, and I was running 50 sites. Even at those traffic levels - using my rather uncreative monetization vehicles I was still under $100/day, but I did have many great days you would love to have.

I'm certain someone with better skills would have made a lot more money on 150k daily adult UV. Anyway ... you should read some of the adult threads/journeys, and look at ways to scale your traffic first.

If you can identify a residual traffic stream or a site you can post to automatically, and pull some reasonable traffic then you could start to consider scaling this project. If you get your 1 site to 3k daily UV, and you can easily duplicate the site in other niches, then I imagine you can achieve your goal. I heard a lot of the folks are now using Xpinner - a posting solution that posts your links to the adult pinboards.

You can make over 80 USD eCPM's with blank redirected adult traffic from cruddy sources as long as you provide your target demographic with what they need, want or desire.
