So, the thing is that we SEOs need to rank our site in order to get visitors but his whole process involves buying domains that are very easy to type in. For example: someone looking for SEO jobs might type in seojobs.com and in some browsers it's a built-in feature as well.

Really cool trick!
I don't know that it's so much a "trick" as it is "willing to spend money." I'm guessing buying an exact match domain name that has traffic isn't cheap.

Yes, these domains go for at least a few thousand dollars in auction.

EMD's with a twist?
If you follow this strategy (I did years ago with affiliate marketing) I'd suggest investing in country specific tld's and also building out the sites with content and then you have a cashcow income and saleable asset.
Ps Just identified 8 keywords and domains to potentially give this a 30 day run using Ai content.
I'll check out my current workload and see if this will work for me ;-)
