    I have a fan site dedicated to the hit TV & comic book series "The Walking Dead" and it has recently been gaining a lot of popularity. As of now it has had 7400 Unique visits and on average this week it has been getting 450-500 visits a day. I recently decided that I should be monetizing it so I set up an Amazon shop for my site. This seemed like the best idea because there are lots of walking dead related products on Amazon.

    Here is my site - http://www.talkingwalkingdead.com

    Today I got my first purchase through my store, it was a Walking Dead comic book. However this got me thinking, you see the problem for me is that I get a lot of my traffic from the US as well as the UK. Since the site has been set up I have had 3,395 from the US and 2,711 from the UK. I currently only have a UK Amazon store set up (because when I first created the site it was only for me and a few of my UK mates)

    What is the best way of adding both a UK and US Amazon store to your site? Just by creating 2 separate pages for both the stores and having links to them in the sidebar, or is there a better way. It's only cause I feel a lot of the US people that visit the store don't bother buying because they are from the US.

    Most of my traffic is coming through my Facebook fan page for the site (currently has 1,900 likes) and my twitter fan page. However I am also now ranking for some of the characters names from the show on both Bing and Yahoo.

    I have also looked into CPA offers for my site but they have sadly not gotten much interest. Any opinions for me as to how I can better monetize this site?

    Thanks, any help/opinions will be greatly appreciated!

    I'd put some adsense up. I'd also probably be using amazon.com, since you have more usa traffic.

    Then again, if I had a walking dead site, I'd have a submit for people posting pics of themselves as zombies and you can post their pic on the page. I think people would like that.

    I love the walking dead. Watched all of last season. I haven't seen this season yet, and don't want to spoil it jumping in mid-season. :-/

    I'd make better use of your sidebar. Don't worry about your social media buttons. Look around for some sort of clothing deal, or posters would work as well; and get an affiliate image/link for that. Post it in the top right corner of the site where people can see.

    Amazon would work, but the rates are so low. I'm sure with the right research, you can find a product worth promoting. The trouble with Adsense is, I'm not sure what you'd get ads for. I'd assume the pay out would be low regardless.

    Think about what these fans want. Maybe toss a link in there to a cpa/content blocker, to view some certain feature. Scenes from next week, or behind the scenes. Think about what these people would like to see, and what they would be willing to spend some time/money for.

    And yes, I saw the store. Maybe just make the link to that more prevalent.

    Ok, thank you for the replies so far, I appreciate it!

    Adsense is a no go for me because I got banned from that last year, I don't really care anyway because that wouldn't get me anywhere really in terms of money.

    I did sign up with a few more affiliate companies that do action figures and models for popular TV shows. I also signed up with Snorgtees, they do lot's of clothing related items and a lot of cool looking zombie themed t-shirts. I am still waiting to hear back from them.

    I was thinking on adding the US store along with the UK one. US Store - Here, UK Store - Here, sort of thing. Don't know if that will work well but it's worth a shot.

    If anyone else has any good ideas post them below please ;)

    I would do reviews of the various item .. review of the week.. lead ppl to products rather than hoping they find them & generates fresh ongoing content

    cpa: netflicks,blockbuster and itunes all stream the series and pay decent sign ups
    gamestop adverts with zombie game reviews

    Don't put adsense on such a site, movies are always trademarks and gg will ban you for using images/videos that are TM

    Thanks for that Pekton, I will look into a few of them ideas. I was thinking of doing a review of the week before but never got round to it. I will give it a shot this time and see how it goes. Those CPA offers sound good as well so I will look into them. :D

    NP,Heres an example using the maxmind API :

    Code:
    script language="JavaScript" src="http://j.maxmind.com/app/geoip.js"></script> <!--  Reference to the Maxmind JS GEO-IP API  -->

    <script language="JavaScript">

    var country= geoip_country_code();

    if(country == "UK")
    {
        javascript:alert("Your from the UK");
        <!-- Here is where you change your Amazon Sidebar to UK -->
    }

    if(country == "US")
    {
        javascript:alert("Your from the USA");
        <!-- Here is where you change your Amazon Sidebar to US -->
    }
    else
    {
        <!-- Here is where you change your Amazon Sidebar For any other country -->
    }
    </script>
    Obviously this would load before the entire page is rendered (or the amazon widgets)

    Got a movie site which is converting fairly well so if you're interested in driving traffic to this movie we can do a JV.
