Hey guys, I've been having some trouble finding some solid niches for a blog worthy for adsense. A lot of people have been suggesting that I make a page for either auto insurance, lawyers, forex, or health. They are saying these are the most saturated niches however they pay the most and have the highest CPC rates. If they are so saturated then how are people able to earn money with them, wouldn't you need $$$$ to rank your blog on the first page.

For example: Someone suggested that I make a blog for dui lawyers. I go to google keyword tool and see that all of the competition is high. How am I supposed to compete with this without spending $$$$ on getting to the first page, without getting banned.

Another question, when someone says to make a blog for your auto insurance niche, what does you blog contain exactly? Sorry for all the questions, it's just I'm new to all of this.

If you're new, then those niches are probably not for you.

Just to start out, why don't you pick something you think you would find interesting and if it's saturated, perhaps branch off of your niche of choosing?

Start off with smaller niche markets, those are very competitive and would be hard for someone like you, who I'm assuming is new, to make money.

What you see in Keyword Tool is the competition for AdWords ads. The more the merrier.

But I guess in those niches, SERPs will be highly competitive too. Just focus on long tails. Don't forget social traffic. You can get traffic anywhere else besides Google search.

I understand this, but what would a smaller market niche be?

Could it be something like: "Retail Home Electronics" and the blog would be about half of retail electronics.

By smaller niche, he means something like breaking down the niche category.

For example, "cars" could be broken down into "fast cars", "slow cars", "antiques", "muscle", "sports" etc..

"Cars" would be the niche, "sports cars" would be a more specific "sub-niche".

    -Hope this helps

Basically what sn0rt said. You can also tag on keywords to "dui lawyers" to make it easier to rank:
dui lawyers>pro bono dui lawyers>pro bono dui lawyers [location]>pro bono dui lawyers [location] reviews>etc
After that, build up your social presence, write articles, put up YT videos, start collecting a mailing list that you can use to send offers to or for swapping with webmasters in other related niches like quitting alcohol addiction.
