Hey guys, I hope this is the right section to post this, if not can someone please move it?

Pretty much this year I got lucky and I'm allowed to create gift-bags for a corporate company. So how they look, what goes in them, around them, etc.

It is a private function for 500 people, so what I was thinking of doing is creating some sort of flyer, printing it 500 times and stapling it to the front of the gift-bag next to the handle so when they take the gift-bag home, the first thing they'll read and/or see is the flyer that was attached to the gift-bag at the front.

I have NO IDEA how how or low the rate of people actually taking action when looking at the flyer, but what do you guys think might be the best way to get some additional income?

    What I was thinking:

Is to create a HostGator flyer and say, "Sign up, blah blah blah", and when they signup under my link, I'll get $50 from each signup. Of course 500 people won't sign up (again, depends on how good the flyer is), but heck even creating over $100 and breaking even is still good:cool:

What other ideas can I do?

I think you will need to give them something. i.e. as a special thank you for attending (insert name of the event here) our company would like to give you (either money off or free gift) then a special link to that product.

and I'm guessing the product that the link will be is to a product that related to them?

Also, would it be better if when they go on some site they enter a "VIP Code"? and get a 10% discount or something? They might feel better about purchasing whatever

Yeah a VIP code is a good idea, you could even just give some 'exclusive' information product away free when they enter a code ie. put up a high price for the info product then give them the code to get it free and then you will get some subscribers for your list.

If you don't want to give it free just give a huge discount eg. as a thank you for attending this event we are offering a huge discount to the xxxx product normally $250 with the VIP code here only $50.

Just make some simple product related to your market and remember to put the high price on the sales page so they feel like they are getting a great discount when they enter the code.
