Edutainment. We've been Illusion by unrealistic expectations in the World we leave without knowledge of what to do in realistic life. it's what the most of us wants to hear, it's basic human nature, we dont like to feel discomfort But comfort.

Brilliant. Yes it takes time and efforts and what I found is that most of the people who are making a killer are IM who offer training courses. Best to focus on doing and not training courses. this forum at blackhatworld is really full of good info.

good writing but you said in your thread that it seems you are going to share a best and confirm way to earn money if anyone follows you perfectly but it actually not that. whatever you gave some inspiration here and that's good. I hope you are doing well.

Hello. Base from what I read you still need a capital in order to produce some profits?
My question is " Is there another way to have some profit even if you have zero capital?" Is it possible?

As someone looking to start out and dip their toe in the world of IM for the first time, this is a great post. Good solid advice.

Thanks for the reality check t0mmy.

Ppl are really misled with the easy money making scam these days.

It all boils down to hard work, focus and grit if you want to make IM happen!

    Word!
Too many simple minded people in this world think that reading some books/guides will make them successful.

The instant results thing is what kicked my ass over the years. Also jumping from one thing to another - an awful combination. I'd start something, expect immediate results and when I wouldn't get them, I'd jump to the next thing. Really disheartening. I've started and stopped literally dozens of projects of the past several years. However, the things I've stuck with (niche sites & web design/SEO freelancing) have paid off tremendously so I don't regret going through what I went through, but Christ it was frustrating. My advice is stick with one thing and plan on working on it for the long haul. Keep learning and growing, and never stop researching to better your project.

Create an UpWork profile, build it out with your portfolio, apply to as many web design gigs that you can find, write a compelling cover letter for each of them (you can have it be templated, but I like to add a little bit of customization to each one so they know I actually read their job description, and keep going until you get your first client. Then do a really good job so they give you a good review. After you do this it'll be a little bit easier to get your second gig, then the third will be even easier, and eventually you'll have people sending their jobs to you to interview for.

I've made more money working face-to-face with clients over the years, primarily through referrals, family members, etc., but I've made a decent amount through UpWork.

Just stick with it and don't expect results right away - I applied to at least 30 different gigs over the course of a week or so before I had my first client - and that's because I had a solid portfolio of clients that I had worked with over the years face-to-face AND I included my LinkedIn in the cover letter so people could see that I was a legit person that could hold down a job (it also helped that I've had many years of experience working for digital marketing agencies). You can pay for UpWork's membership plan (I think it's around $15 a month) to get more "connects" (theyre basically points that let you apply to different gigs, you're alloted a certain amount each month for free but you get more if you pay for the membership) and to see the range that other people are quoting for the gig so you can try to cut under them.

If you don't have a portfolio of clients and are just getting started, it's gonna be a bit harder but I think if you write a good cover letter, give them a good price, and are honest by saying something like "I'm just starting out, but I'm confident I can do this job because...".

You could also include websites you've built for yourself in your portfolio - it sounds like you've already built some sites if you like doing so.

I also wouldn't shy away from working with people face-to-face - I got my first gig through a friend who referred me to their friend that needed a website. We were just talking about life and I brought up that I was learning web design and he gave me their contact info. That was around 3 months after I started learning web design btw and I made a cool $1000 from it so it's never too early to get started - just be smart and have the right expectations. You won't be rolling in the dough overnight.

Excellent! I cannot use any better word. This is right with me. I leave 2 IM works before read this article. The first, I start with a landing page to sell aff and after that, the seller refuse to support me. The second, I start with clickbank and IG. I realize soon, everything not like I image. To run many acc (sure if anyone do not want to be block by IG) I have to rent jarvee, proxy (to auto run) and pay for domain, landing page, and pay for study fee ( I start with no knowledge in website and run ads). My IG accs is block from 1 to end, I have to buy new IG acc and....the history come back. I have to stop because I pay to much while I do not have enough knoledge to play.
One day, I know BHW (thanks god). Now I have to study at the beginning before start any new IM. I need to collect enough knowledge, tool and support with suitable fee. If someone do not want to pay fee, they have to pay their time, their effort and more and more to reach the target as they want. Nothing easy and free. Thank you again. Have a good day.

If you're just getting started, I'd complete a portfolio for People Per Hour, Freelancer, Fiverr and any other freelance sites that fit your website building specialty. Upwork has the most work but it's also very competitive and expensive. I'd begin by offering a price that is very low just to get some good feedback. Ratings are important on any of the sites but especially for Upwork. The problem with Upwork now is getting approved. They have made it very difficult to be approved depending on the demand for your skill. Good luck.
