Great read and solid IM knowledge. Remind me the mistakes I’ve made along the away. Stay focus.
When I started my website in the Earlier days the statistics of viewers is damm low and I've tried every way people told that will bring a site in top. but i lately realized that these ways are just a possibility which might work or most probably not. Then I've started concentrating on my content and was doing good sort of work and then gradually the views increased and people started showing interest and everything became right.
Appreciated the kind effort. There is no proper easy way to get quick pay.
What you've discussed makes a lot of sense. You need to have a lot of dedication and determination in this.
I needed this back in 2010. I blew my first commissions and have been on my arse every since. Very informational and valuable post worth reading until it sinks in.
i agree with you... not easy to earn some money on internet except you make cheating but it's take not too long and you will be banned..
Thanks for posting this, I had shiny object syndrome from 2014 to around new year 2018. My case worker told me to focus on stabilizing my mental health and I finally took her advice. I had a bad habit of overwhelming myself which set me up for failure.
I ended up temporarily dropping out of college because I ran out of money buying too much fast food, video games and some pointless business ventures. It's too bad student grants come all at once as it seems to set students up for failure, should be monthly payments, but hey I take full responsibility.
Come September 2018 starting up college again, my health was I'd say at the 50% mark vs like 10-20% and was growing. I REALLY resisted business stuff. I actually had an excuse to play a fuck ton of games as my case worker said my #1 thing I need to do is relax. Winter came around and I was starting to think of what I wanted to take for my elective. I was considering entrepreneurship but didn't want too much pressure. Then around the beginning of December 2018, it just felt right to start taking business seriously and balanced this time. Luckily, turns out I was ready. I just got put on the best anti-depressants ever so this was a huge factor.
I've really been going hard all of January, researching Fiverr, what gigs to do, marketing etc. So many people claim you should be able to become a level 2 seller in less than 1 year which I always thought was insane. Until reading this point, the reality didn't kick in for me. I felt IM was really hard, it didn't shy me away, but I felt like I was doing something wrong even though my friend is business college told me it takes an average company 2-3 years to get in the black.
Reading that you might not make money for several months has literally lowered my breathing rate and I honestly think I'll be less stressed because my breathing will be deeper and slower.
I set, at least what I think to be a realistic goal of $400 earned within 12 months of starting. I chose $400 because that's what I need to become a level 1 seller on Fiverr. Now, knowing that it might takes several months to make any money, fuck if I make $50, I'll be content, because that's 10 reviews on Fiverr. So the $400 goal still stands, but I have my minimum set.
Thanks again so much for this post, it made me feel better about myself and confirm that I am doing a great job.
That what i have to read before many years ago, especially you must have job first if you just starting out, thanks
I have to say that more than just information, this is an inspirational thread.
Most people try to find a full proof plan to make money, but they do not understand that a plan is not full proof, but our strategy makes it full proof and successful.
Wow. Totally agree with you.
If you want to make money - you should choose your way and work hard. "Free cheese only in mousetrap" )))
yes it is all about niche and finding good strategy and content
Thank you for the good motivation. I am at the point where I am ready to start, just kind of nervous on which route to go down. I do not want to waste money if I can help it. Thanks though.
i want to steal it but i need your permission first!
Well said Tommy I'm proof of what your saying and I've done very well though the years but I love to spend and methods are always changing and evolving so I won't be making same mistakes anymore! Once you have an income stream It's only easy when your complacent but your setting yourself up for a downfall.
I think I just light shining on me as I read this. LOL Thanks anyways. This is a great post. Really. I've been to IM since 2012 and I failed a lot of times. But I didn't stop. I kept going I know I will be there someday.
Yeah it really does come down to you If you aren't willing to put in the effort it doesn't matter what it is
I love this posts, it is cold hearted truth. I am not a newbie in IM, but still made me more driven and motivated. Thank you brother!
My mistake was that i never put enough time and effort. However, IM is not easy when u have a 40h/week job, chores, a girl, gym. Damn, there is never enough time. I wish i knew here to start properly
I just want to say that this has helped me alot and I appreciate you taking the time to post it.
Very good advice here.
Yes, some may find success instantly online, but most don't and trust me it's posts like this that will help most.
BHW and IM in total has so many options that its almost overwhelming. The main part i struggle with is finding one thing i want to concentrate on. I don't want to waste time on options that may have not great potential and thats why i think many people start switiching from method to method (me included). How should you deal with this and how do you learn to concentrate on just one thing without looking into other methods?
