I tried doing this it's not a bad idea, the thing is you spend a ton of time selling people that are trying to sell you. I think the only way to make it work is to sell the guys at the very bottom or very top. The guys up top usually hop from one scheme to the next so if you have a product they can push on their network you will probably be successful.

For the guys at the bottom, the obvious catch is that they are naive. The only issue is that they probably just shelled out $400 and are still arguing with their family over the initial investment. But if you've really got a story and you can really sell them on the success you will make your money hand over fist for sure.

There's a ton of competition out there though. You need to come hard with the theatrics. Rent a mansion, a Ferrari, hire a bunch of actors to pretend you're the Jesus Chris of making money and the Scrooge McDuck into that vault of Gold coins when you're done.

Glad I can make ya laugh haha You find the guys at the top by going to the conferences/meetings they set up. You probably wont be able to do this part online, but I can assure you it works. I've met many regional leaders with thousands of people below them on the pyramid.

Sorry everyone, I made this post then didn't come back to check the comments. I'm trying to get more active on the forum. I think some of you misunderstood what I was saying, I was just throwing ideas around how to pitch some product or service at the MLM meetings and see who bites. Finding the users on social media is easy and contacting them is even easier, just need to have something that could potentially help them.

I tried MLM in the past and it didn't work for me. I don't want to say that it is a fraud, but your chances of success are very slim, especially if you are starting from 0.

I saw many MLMers on ibotoolbox, so you now know where to get your clients from.

yeah, MLM people I came across were very cult like. If you try to do business with them, maybe advertising their stuff will work, but they WILL try to get you to join no matter what.
