I found something important and I want to share it with the community, it's pretty big.
I've read a couple of threads over the past week about people wanting to sell online currency such as World of Warcraft gold. Early in this decade, there was some serious coin to be made as there was no real price or competition and the demand was obviously very high.
Then over the years competition began rising and, for one reason another, small companies based in China began dominating the industry. They became notorious for hiring young Chinese desperate for jobs and forcing them to sit at a computer and "farm" currency in various online games for astoundingly low wages. These low wages and fierce work ethic are most likely what lead to the Chinese domination of the industry. The industry brought in billions of dollars per year.
The rest of the world could not compete with China, and the online authorities in the video games could never assure they were banned (eventually giving up completely).
Until a couple of weeks ago.
(You don't need to read this long article, I will explain it) http://blogs.wsj.com/chinajournal/2009/06/29/china-cracks-down-on-virtual-currency-for-real/
Basically, China has outlawed the industry. There are more complexities, but all we need to know is they will no longer dominate. The industry may not dissipate completely but it will give us and other parts of the world a chance.
The method:
1. Research an online video game. Learn the fastest way to make their online currency in the game.
2. Purchase the game, and get to the point where you can "farm" as much currency as you can. Don't do it yet.
3. Repeat step 2 a lot with different accounts.
4. Begin making as much online currency as you can on 1 account, send the currency to another account at the end of the day. (THIS STEP CAN BE AUTOMATED)
5. If the account gets banned, it's ok. Your currency is sitting on another account which they will not ban because it looks like a legit account. Switch to another farming account.
6. Have your online website store setup. SEO. PPC. In-game advertisment. Whatever, you guys are professionals and getting traffic. Sell your currency to the gamers.
7. Profit.
If I have left anything out, let me know and I'll try and fix it. This is really off the top of my head here but I just wanted to let you know that China is leaving the market they were dominating.
