    Hey guys,

I'm running viral site and I would like to boost my traffic a bit.

So, what about contacting big FB pages and offering them to pay for posting links to my site?

However, I'm not sure about the paying model. Should I pay them per post? For CPM? For clicks?
And how can I reliably track it? Should they give me access to administration or should I use bitly?

Do you have any experience with dealing with FB pages?

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Everything is okay. Contacting big FB pages is a nice idea. But it's need to be related to your niche as well. If you contact niche related big FB pages, they might respond to your requirement. So, you will get the targeted traffic to your site.

IMO, you can pay them for clicks. They might give you administration access depends on the relationship you maintain. And yes, we already experienced this method with our movie website. It works well.

    Best Wishes - BB

    Thanks for the answers, guys!

I'm not sure why they would be interested in a link from my site.

I have tried, but the ROI isn't positive. My RPM on Adsense is too low for that CPC on FB.

My site is really general (think Viralnova, Boredpanda, etc.), so any traffic is good (I have some preferences when it comes to gender or age, but that's it).
I'll try to get some CPC deal then, thanks!

Thanks for the offer. However, my site is in Czech language, so I don't think that would work. Thanks anyway :)

Well the big fan pages are only worth their conversions into engagements and sales for your type of site. I am sure you won't make bank paying $100 per post because most are overpriced for their return sales metrics. You are paying for potential engagements but without them proving their fans will convert on your offer makes the risk great. You would need to try it out and see how it goes for you, as long as you are willing to accept what you spend is going to be lost for testing purposes.

Soul Collector is on the money. I have tried buying posts every way possible. Had some success with facebook ads using a service on BHW a while back but even that had it's limits. The best advice ( or method) I can share with you is set up a dummy site that you don't really care much about. Then set up about five facebook pages. Buy a likejacker and install it on the dummy site. Then put about three-five of the most viral clickbait crap you can on it. Lastly, go out and buy traffic (and this is important) from websites directly...banner ads, plugs etc. Once your pages reach around 5k stop and start again on another page. You will have to think about what I am saying and tweak it but in 3-6 months you will understand the value and have your own army.

    Best,
    Rolls
