Making a Blog???

Hi,

I think i have finally found a niche that i would like to create my blog on but i have one small problem. I do personally believe that niche i am going in to can make me some money if i market it properly but i don't weather to start off by making a free blog on like blogger.com or blogspot or jump straight in and purchase a domain name? My idea was that if the blog does get big then i will switch over to proper domain name later on. Do you think this is a good idea?

i am retarded at wordpress so i just stick to blogger, cant you put blogger on your own domain as well?

I would say take a run on blogger if you are more comfortable with it and see what sort of traffic you get. As wakkaoaka stated you can migrate it to your own domain if you want. Or you could take the plunge and use WP. A lot of hosts use Fantastico to make it super easy to install Wordpress. Using your own domain gives you more control.

If you like to be in complete control i advice you to go get a domain and hosting and install WP on it.

Do both, since blogger is free anyway. I suggest making the blogger blog a flagship blog on the same general topic, but not the same niche.

This is the way to go. You build 3-5 blogger blogs and 1 domain you own. The blogger blogs are for the general topic and the site you own is linked to in the free blogs and covers the actual niche. Maybe throw up a few hubs and lens as well
