    Hey all

I did ask in other thread but didnt get answer

I have 2 new domains but they both have backlinks (they are like 3 months old both). Can i set 301 from one to another and still keep on making backlinks to both of them?

Or 301 works only for old backlinks not new ones?

    Will it do anything?

Because there are billions of threads about 301 redirects appearing every day. Do you know how many newbies looking to cut corners it worked for? For newbies expecting a much bigger bang for the buck than they can possibly get? Pretty much zero.

No idea why you want to redirect fresh domain to another fresh domain and backlink both of them. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Because then you can have 2 strong backlink profiles. It could, for example, save you from penalty if you do too many backlinks for one site, cause you split it for 2.
    Thanks nevertheless.

Yeh, that still doesn't make sense, because 301 redirected domain passes all its linkjuice and anchors to other domain. So no, it absolutely doesn't work like you want it to work, because all those backlinks will end up on the same place anyway. Not to mention, 301 redirects pass penalties.
