I've been a member for a long time, experimenting with different things like autoblogs, blog commenting, auto bookmarking, etc... but never dedicated myself to anything to make it pay off.

Anyways, I now have my own business that I am looking to promote, and I'd like to use some various methods of generating traffic.

I'm curious what you all would recommend I try, using only a single VPS.
Autoblogging, link wheels, etc? From what I've read many options seem to recommend having sites on different ips, or they won't be effective. So is working with a single vps pointless?

No, you can simple buy additional ips - around 1 - 2 dollars a month. And you can have several sites on one ip etc, just dont link the same ip websites together :) recommend that you et p several blogs on different ips and link back to your biz. Goodluck in whatever you choose to do.

thanks for the quick reply. is there any recommended max I should put per IP address? I was thinking of doing some articles, and some with videos... all from the same niche...

I have no interest in monetizing them with adsense or affiliate programs, I just want to funnel traffic to my main website. Perhaps an Opt-In, so I can get a second chance at those that didn't follow through to the primary site.

there's a 1/2 million how-to autoblog threads on here, and I've gotten the main idea, and have no issue setting up the scripts, but is there one that is particularly good?

Use 1 blog per ip for the best results, there are some cheap shared hosts that provide you with "SEO Hosting" - they provide up to hundreds of ip's at good price, you can look into it, because usually companies charge lot of money for dedicated ip's.

SEO hosting companies already use thaese shared ip's for other clients, so you are going to use these same ip's.

this should not be a problem for what you need imo.

    Good luck anyway.

think 100MB is enough space for my purposes? It's music related, so I'd like to do some video and some article blogs if possible.

I found a service which seems much cheaper than everywhere else (10/$12, 25/$25), but the space is very minimal.
