Make Money With Squidoo

Ok, Harro has asked that we each create a thread about how we make money online. Well, this post is pretty easy for me because so far I have only made money online from selling clickbank products on Squidoo.

I know that this is a very elementary tip, but since it is the only tip I have, I have to use it. Hopefully in a few more months I will be contributing more tips to newbies like myself.

I find that Squidoo ranks very well in google. If I target people who are looking for specific clickbank products, I have a great conversion rate. This is not a way to make a lot of money, but I can create a Squidoo lens in about 15 minutes. So, my time to money ratio is pretty good.

I know that others will have something better to teach, but I am following Harro's request. Hopefully this thread will help someone.

If anyone has any Squidoo tips for making money or gaining traffic, I would love to hear them.

OK Leo you want to elaborate on how you make Clickbank commissions using Squidoo? Not trying to bust your chops, but you can't tease our fellow fourm members like that.

Here's a very quick overview of my tips:

You can rank well in Squidoo for longtail keywords and if you're focusing on those that buyers in a specific niche would use when looking for specific products, you can make money. So the most important thing (initially) is your lens URL and keywords/tags. I run the most promising thru LensInspector http://www.affilitools.com/lensinspector.php to see if I can snag one or more for my lens URL.

Lens structure is important and these days your content has to be fairly decent to avoid getting your lens flagged as spam. So make sure you use product related images and include at least 2-3 text/write modules, a poll module (to get visitor to start thinking about buying your product), RSS feed modules and youtube modules. You have to drive traffic to your lens via other sites that get search engine love -- hubpages, googlepages, weebly, etc. Once your lens is published and goes to "green" status (meaning it's featured in Squidoo's featured lens results), you should stumble it & ping the lens URL + RSS feed and submit it to Onlywire or Social Poster.

From what I can tell, traffic is key to success as well. My lenses keep moving up a few hundred spots a day thanks to traffic I send through exchanges with other lens owners.

Also, my links get clicked as well, and I think that is another factor. I'm ranking for a bunch of long tail phrases in multiple categories and I'm probably earning about $70 a day from CPA network offers I'm promoting on them.

Right now . . . Squidoo Lens and Hubpages appear to be "the buzz".

I am very interested to start earning with Clickbank affiliate programs and Squidoo or Hubpages. Right now I only have one Squidoo Lens and I guess I'm still at the drawing board trying to decide what works (for me).

My Lens has a fair rank at Squidoo but I must confess I am not overwhelmed by traffic at this time. I launched my Lens on 29 January . . . and now I am trying to catch up on worthwhile tactics, techniques and tips.

One thing I have noticed is the number of people who are into buying and selling Squidoo Lens. Seems very interesting, an extra rvenue stream and it does hold a certain appeal to me.

I would be interested to hear from anyone that can offer information on Clickbank affiliate program marketing with Squidoo Lens or perhaps Hubpages.

Squidoo and hubpages got ranked fasy and easily you can advertise your site there, a good way to rank and drive traffic to your site

One quick tip, Don't worry about your Squidoo rank. It doesn't mean a thing.Your main concern is to get good ranking in the search engines. Lately Yahoo is giving a lot of love to Squidoo and I seem to get more traffic from them then Google. I still do ok with google but they are very up and down. Either way don't worry about your Squidoo rank, if you get traffic thats all that matters.

I think that's great that you're able to make $70 a day on Squidoo. Do you think you could elaborate on the methods you use to achieve this? I'd really apreciate it, as I'm sure other members would also!

Squidoo is just doing well with Yahoo right now. Typical SEO stuff will get you ranked well. Also Squidoo lenses that have some age to them do pretty well. I have a few lenses that I can't update because of Squidoo's new spam filters but they occasionally rise to the top of Google or Yahoo here and there lol.

does anyone experienced this situation?

my lens got indexed quickly by using bookmark demon.
also have good rank, cause my keyword competition is a bit low.

however, just one or two days later.
it got disappeared in the search result,
when it come back again (normally it will),
there is no rank for the keyword

so i'm wondering what the hell goes on with this lens
maybe because of too backlinks at a short time?

Squidoo got ranked fasy and easily you can advertise your site there, a good way to rank and drive traffic to your site....

Making a lens isn't difficult and it only takes a few minutes to build. The time consuming part is coming up with the title, URL, keyword tags and content.

I'm going to have my assistant build some lenses for me, although I'll write the content myself. I wrote a simple set of instructions for her to follow and maybe they'll help you with your lens building -
