I've said this across the forums it all comes down to 3 things. Master a traffic source. Monetize. Optimize. What traffic source? SEO? PPC? PPV? Media buys? Let's say you want to make money from SEO. Step 1: Pick a keyword that get a high enough number of searches with low SE competition. These two factors are usually inversely proportional of each other so you gotta pick a balance. How high enough is enough for searches? I can't give you a number because it's not the same for every niche. A product value at $500+ only need 1000 exact searches per month to make $10/day. i.e: amazon pays 6.5% commision, out of $500 that's $32.5 per product sold. With 30 hits per day an and average conversion of 2% for every click. You'll get about 1 sale every 2 days. That's $15/day. See how easy this is?
