Are any of you familiar with lec billing? I am in the process of getting approve to do lec billing.

Basically what this does is allows me to bill a service or product directly to your phone bill.

    Any ideas?

lec (local exchange carrier) is whoever your local phone company is. Lec billing has been around many years. Yes, that means that you are billed for what ever the product or service is, right on your local phone bill.

The caveat to that is that even though it appears on your local bill, it's considered a passthrough, and the local carrier itself is "hands off" when it comes to any payment of other issues and will refer you to who ever the company is that you are getting the product or service from.

The good thing is that even if you default with that company or organization, the "lec" won't disconnect your local phone service, because it's a dispute between you and the company "who is billing you/who you got the services from" ......

    Hali~!:)

Are you able to bill in any dollar increments you need now? In the past, I think people who set up LEC billing could only bill specific dollar amounts, so you were limited to one or two amounts.
