If you are unfamiliar with my Pinterest thread you can find it here: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...ney-pinterest-noob-friendly-ready-twists.html Several people where able to get some sort of value from that thread so I thought I would post what I have found out about Instagram thus far. First of all, it is not as powerful as Pinterest was when I first started. There is a lot of traffic in Instagram but it is no where near the numbers that I was seeing with Pinterest. With P, I was able to get 345 UVs after about 30 minutes of manual work and letting it rest for 10 minutes....I did this all by hand and didn't use any bots. I have already topped 500 UVs per day with Instagram with a bot but it is not as fast. Before using a bot I was at 50 UVs a day. Pinterest was ripe for the picking and there will probably not be anything quite like that for some time. That being said, how should YOU go about making money with Instagram? The key is watermarks. This is far less easy that Pinterest but it is the best way to get traffic. You should watermark all of your images with some sort of short url. It can be a short domain or a url shortener but it should be memorable because a viewer is going to have to type it in. If you aren't watermarking your pictures, then give up on Instagram. How should you Monetize Instagram? There are of course the typical ways of monetization, either through AdSense or CPA. I have been fairly successful with both thus far. I run a few fashion websites and Instagram is perfect for this type of niche. Fitness, Fashion, anything visually appealing should do well on this medium. If you are going to go the CPA route do not direct link to the offer as the conversion rates are awful, make sure you use a landing page. Because Instagram is more gender equal than Pinterest not all your pictures have to be catered towards women, in fact in some instances pictures catered towards men have seen a much higher return. Another way to monetize would be to sell likes or follows on Instagram. People are always going to be looking for numbers, which is why people have been buying twitter followers for the past 4 years. Perceived importance is better than actual importance, especially in the online world. But likes are especially important on Instagram because if a photo gets enough likes, it will be on the popular page and that is when you start to see some mega traffic. Selling likes and follows is going to have a startup cost (proxies/bot) but it is a surefire way to make some good cash on Instagram. I made over $5k selling repins and follows on Pinterest and there is no doubt in my mind that Instagram is going to be similar. The main method for being seen on Instagram is to post a visually stimulating picture and boost it with likes and comments. Again there are sellers of likes on fiverr but if you are serious about working on Instagram make the initial investment and you will come ahead in the long run. Feel free to ask me any questions.
