I remember lurking around here 3-4 years ago and everyone used the [Thanks] button. It made this place such a positive forum. Rarely did a helpful or insightful post come by without 5 to 10 Thank You's. Most threads were big walls of [The Following 26 Users Say Thank You to XXXX For This Useful Post] lists.

You need more of that, I need more of that, we need more of that.

Here's why: metro.co.uk/2015/12/05/heres-how-people-react-to-being-told-theyre-beautiful-5546022/

Next time you read something you like, take a second to click that little thanks button at the bottom left of every post and feel good about yourself. Make someone else feel better, and turn BHW into a place of positivity, unicorns and rainbows ;-)

Could we exclude the unicorns and rainbows part?

Says the Man that has been a member since 2011 and only given and received 3 thanks in total. ffs
The only button I miss is the Neg Rep button.

BHW has the same issue as Facebook in which there only is a like button but no dislike button.

We need a "go fuck yourself" button.

we had that one before, the neg rep button mentioned by Wilson, lots of lulz were had when someone got neg repped into negative, it didn't take too much though when the default was 10 positive rep and older, VIP members had a rep power higher than that, so it was enough to make a stupid post and you never recovered lol, but that fun was also gone when the function got disabled, because of the positive rep circles

Yeah, but you're such a hard-ass :)

Didn't work for you then, only 4 since 2011

So much love ;-) It's almost tangible! FYI, the unicorn's strangled - with a rain-bow. Get it?

It would anyway look bad if a man told another man that "you're beautiful"... And on reading a post, good or bad, it would be terrible+++ to say "you're beautiful" :D. So that link seems to be out of the context.

Anyway, the thanks button too is becoming another Rep+ button lately IMO ;). It's only when someone's really giving away something of value and gets sone very honest thanks is when the "thanks" is really meaningful... So gaining trust and respect counts -- only!

I know warrior forum allows regular members to hand out infractions, maybe you will be happier there.

That sounds like it will eventually backfire on them badly.
