    hey,

ok.. i'll share with you today a "REAL" good money maker.... in this you dont really need to do anything much.. u can hire people to do everything.. u dont even need any investment!!

n trust me its super scalable.. so u can make it as big as u can... i use it for emergency cash.. n i dont do this too often

    here goes..

all of you would know bout hostgator...
well you would also know when you send them a user.. who gets a month free u get $120/sign up... n they just have to verify there credit card..

    now the trick is..

    1) give a ad in a news paper saying you will give everybody a website for free...
    2) make them choose a template and send you the content
    3) once done make the site and make them sign up on hostgator
    4) they will sign up under your referral code as they are noobs and they dont know a thing bout IM they will be so happy with it!
    5) they will 90% of the time renew.. n u will get your earnings

now one ad in the news paper gets mostly something close to 400-500 orders... n it takes atleast a month to cover all of them..

don't forget to outsource all the work!!

u will make a lot of money + ur word will spread due to the happy n satisfied customers.. and they wont complaint much as it is free... and later on u can charge for support n stuff like that if u wanna...!

n trust me.. there are a lot of noobs out there who need a website but dont have one.. n dont know how to go about getting one... or are scared of the costs!

n i said hostgator as i believe they pay the max!

dont forget to hit the thanks button if u like the idea... i am sure u would though!

I've heard so many stories about pretty much all web hosting companies doing this, I don't know what to believe anymore. Obviously the web hosting company is looking for real members that use the service for a long time, how else would they be giving away large referral bonuses... I've heard that the person you referred needs to stay a member for 2 billing cycles (2 months) and needs to actually upload something to their account/use the hosting. Don't know what to believe about web hosting company affiliate programs anymore.

Anyways, I remember reading something similar to this, except instead of having the people sign up under your affiliate link, you got a reseller account and sold them hosting space for $10 a month, so it was a recurring income.

This is a good idea, YOu could even charge for the websites a very small price so people dont think "yeh right, "free""

But I wouldnt do it because of hostgator, I heard so many stories aobut them not paying, and even some threads on DP, Hostgator admin/owner just brings some BS to the table of why he cant pay you.

how would you feel if the end of the month you dont get paid and youve made 500 free websites.

If I was you personally, and I lived in the same country as the aff company owner, I would goto him in real life and sort it out, People think just because its online they can bully you into not paying, If you tell him straight you owe me $8g, if you dont pay il beat the fuck out of you...

Yeh it mite sound stupid to some but w/e, If some1 owed you that in real life you wouldnt just stand for some "sorry I dont need you" excuse.

Seems like a good idea. Just:
    1. What are you writing in the ads?
    2. How exactly are you showing the people the templates, do you have a site setup with templates they can choose from?
    3. Are you marketing it towards business or regular people? And if regular people then what are you saying they can use it for (e.g. blogging, making money) etc.

i did this stuff when i started my carrier in IM... n i had actually printed banners.. n put them in diffrent places... i got 5-6 ppl.. n that was the max scale i did this on...

i found better things... n well it was 2 years ago... n i was very busy in studies and stuff too then.. so i could not scale things up.. n outsourcing was not something that common! if it was i was not aware of it...

n well u can use joomla to make the sites... its the easiest! n they can choose the templates from any free template site! or u can give links to them in ur site!

n i had marketed the product towords small property dealers n stuff... the kinda who aspire to write a website name on there business cards but dont know how to!

The idea still holds. You might just switch hosting companies or host it yourself if you're concerned about HG getting happy with your due. You might need to help them open up a PayPal account so you can get your money but it might be worth it to put it all together.

    Home Page:
This would work well if you have a website builder script, a very simple one that afterwards lets them download the files and then forward them to hostgator. Almost completely automated then.

I charge people $10 per month for hosting. They could get it cheaper but they don't know where to go or how to do it and I will upload their files and setup their email accounts for them. Some I charge $25 to $50 for if its a large site with a lot of email accounts or I will include an hour per month to update their site and charge them more.

Most just pay their bill & never need anything so I get like 800 - 900 a month for hosting and it only costs me 34.95 for my reseller account.

Can you put a safeguard in the process to prevent against them holding the money out on you?

What about a CJ account? If I do it via CJ they must have to pay right because its via a 3rd party...

I think this would work even better if you had your own reseller account. Cause you know you will get the money in your pocket, instead of hoping Hostgator pays you.
