Majestic TF and CF question

Simple. The www. variant has more high TF backlinks.
You can check the backlinks and you will there are different backlinks reported, depending the url format (with/without www.).

Same as on Ahrefs, using http/https, with and without the www. gives different results.
Also root domain, exact url etc will give different results too.

I used Majestic Seo in the past, and it really brought very few backlinks for my websites (which are in Greek language and in .gr TLD).
Apart from Majestic's very bad performance in Greek, I have tried it in .com domains (which I tested with ahrefs) and it got the same (very poor) results.

The same thing happens with moz (poor backlink discovery) in the most cases except for very high authority websites (that moz propably deals with all the time)
and I always find that ahref's DA and PA values are different than those of moz.

Majestic's database has significantly fewer backlinks from any other tool on the market, and the question is, if a tool discovers only a handful of backlinks,
how can it determine a website's ranking score and the overall backlink quality of a website?

I really cannot understand why seos give so much attention on Majestic's TF and CF

It surely doesn't show only "handful" and pretty much every significant link is shown with whatever tool you use. I use Majestic, because Ahrefs is limited, slow and overpriced bullshit in my opinion. If I need to process huge batches of domains, then Ahrefs is completely pointless.

When I put my url in Majestic, I get these great numbers:

https://preview.ibb.co/kYEyPF/Untitled.jpg

But when I click on the "would you like to switch to the entire domain link... I get these lower numbers.

https://preview.ibb.co/kdSwBv/Untitled1.jpg

(I tried to use the image link on here, but couldn't get it to work. Sorry.)

What would cause this? Seems like if it included MORE links, the numbers would be higher?

There are only 2 versions you should focus on. Root "domain.tld" and URL "http://www.domain.tld".

By default, TF is always higher at the URL level. It's not always true, but mostly is. It's like a same girl with and without make up. Either focus on URL or focus on root and stick with it. Compare sites based on the version that you decided to work with.

The first image shows you TF and CF of that particular link and the second image shows you the TF and CF of the whole domain which is the average value of all pages of that domain. Correct me if I am wrong!

if you only research domains from time to time (not a pro like you) all of them are overpriced :(

Well Majestic with quarterly subscription was like 37 pounds a month, that's not anything catastrophic. Plus those group buys tend to work at least some extent.
