Am I going crazy, or, is Majestic data fluctuating wildly right now, and as of the last couple of weeks?

You can check a domain one day, and it's TF22/CF15, and the next day it's TF10/CF30.

Quite concerning to me, given that I viewed Majestic as quite a reliable source.

You simply don't get fluctuations that wild in the ordinary course of domains coming and going... they're fundamentally changing the way they calculate.

That's odd...I've been checking a handful of websites consistently with majestic for a while now and have seen no major discrepancies that haven't taken into account link building/loss. Perhaps they are doing some tweaking. Either way, it is a bit disconcerting.

On a side-note, does this mean the domains you are giving away aren't what they once were?

Quite the contrary - it means they're better. They've just been re-checked :)

Have seen the exact same thing happen already back in Nov 2014 - after that I stoped using Majestic for a while and tried it again for about 4 days ago, same shit going on.

I didn't boughter to ask here since most may say it's yours fault or you can write to their support which I actually did and not got any answer.

not been using majestic that much, but it might be the www, non www, or http:// versions of the site because as far as I know, majestic shows different stats for each version of your domain.

It certainly does give different results for different subdomains, including for www, however, what I'm referring to is based on exactly the same query, but a wildly different output.

i dont understand why people are so obsessed with these numbers. I never check these numbers. I check the backlinks. if a domain has backlinks from at least 50 referring domains and they are not spam, it's a go. otherwise forget it.
number never enter the equation for me.
but maybe i am wrong.

Number one pet peeve there, shitty support.
