Maggeren's Journey To $100/Day - Clickbank + ?

Hello Blackhatworld, Maggeren here. Thank you for visiting my IM journey thread! (First of all I have to say that I'm not a native speaker, so don't expect flawless grammar during the thread. I also want to apologize for the lack of fancy layout in this journey, but I don't want to spend the majority of my online time spicing this thread up with pointless graphics, etc). I'm gonna keep it short, precise and to the point. Hopefully.

BACKGROUND:
I previously did a 20-page YT/PPD journey a few years ago about $150/Day (like any other kid on BHW seemingly did at that time). It went well, even though I didn't reach my goal back then, but I got close. Eventually I had to stop doing what I was doing, as I found it to be not very ethical and not very long term - which for me are essentials nowadays in the IM world, as I have grown and learned a lot from my online experiences.

GAME PLAN
This journey however will be focused on the long term aspect, and focused on providing value for my prospects. I currently plan on doing this by capitalizing on what Clickbank has to offer, picking the best products (actually finding out if the products are crap or worth promoting (adding value)).

When that's done, I'm gonna setup an authority review site with a bunch of quality reviews of Clickbank Marketplace products in the same niche. I plan on promoting the site with Meathead1234's method and maybe BING PPC as I have had moderate success with that in the recent years. Other traffic streams may present themselves along the way. Who knows.

I plan on updating the thread on a daily basis to recap what I have done/what I expect to get done + earnings, if any.

UPDATE:

Alright, I this is somewhat of a late update, but I felt more like focusing on the site and on what's really important, but here's what has been going on since my initial post:

Setup the site and posted 3 reviews on it. 1 of the reviews is the main one that I'm focusing on, and thus I have given it a glowing recommendation compared to the two other products on my site, that I have decided to slash as to not seem overly positive in my reviews and to seem as objective as possible

and I guess it worked! Got one sale almost right off the bat after a short amount of time commenting on news sites/blogs, and an upsell on that sale too! Nice!




This is a decent EPC/EPH, and honestly it should've been a lot higher, but on October 29 some Romanian (bot?) clicked my link 56 times, dragging the EPC down...

So yeah, a nice $37.36 sale, and the best part is that I'm promoting a product with a recurring subscription, so unless the customer cancels/refunds his purchase, I'm looking at a nice commission (which is a lot higher than the initial sales amountm according to the vendor affiliate page) next month too!

Since this first sale on the 26th I haven't made any sales though, so it could be a fluke, but at least I know that my content is somewhat doing the job, and I just gotta post more comments, as traffic has only been mediocre these last few days.



The low traffic on October 31-November 2 was greatly caused by my hosting being slow as I don't know what with page load times of over 10s... This resulted in me not wanting to comment as much, since I didn't want visitors getting a headache from the slow load. I switched host yesterday, and got a refund on my initial hosting package. Thank God.

This means that my expenses currently are at:

Wordpress theme: $59
1 Year hosting: $65 (1 year might've been a stretch, but I'm in this for the long haul).
Domain registration + privacy enabled: $16

(It's possible that I have been screwed over and could've gotten the above for a tenth of the price, but I've bought quality stuff so far imo).

Total expenses: $140
Total revenue: $37

As you can see I'm still a long way from breaking even, but I'll get there as I'm highly motivated to continue!
