Magento or wordpress for ecommerce shop?

Hey guys, I have just been suspended by etsy. I was actually doing pretty well and was thinking of moving out of there slowly to avoid all their fees so in a sense this came as blessing.

I'm gonna build an estore on my own domain. What do you guys recommend I use, wordpress or magento? or do you guys have other recommendations?
