Looks like it returned the fees to me but the amount minus the fees to the buyer..
whats that all about.

You had already paid the fees out of pocket, example:
Your Starting PayPal balance: $10.00
Your buyer buys an item for $10.00 and sends you the full amount
Your balance is now original($10.00) + payment($10.00) - payment fee of 3% ($0.30)
Balance is now $29.70
You now refund the buyer. He gets his payment - fees so he gets $9.70 back.
You now have $10.00 again.

Nope because I started with 29.33 and now I have 38. Dududayum I think your algorythm is off. All seriousness wtf. I see the fee reversal to me and a 19.99 pp payment to me being refunded as like 19.41. Zzzz

Withdraw it asap then.

Yes sir I didn't buy this account I generated the feedback since I was 12, I want to make sure that people get back all there money.

Its because there was a hold at first, so say the transaction was for $10, when someone disputes it puts a hold on that $10, only you never got $10 you got $9 or whatever because of the fee. So your account has less money, now when its refunded PayPal refunds their fee plus the $9 and that $1 fee that they had been holding on your account gets returned because you don't have to pay the fee since you never got it in the first place.

You're not actually making any money lol, its just when the hold happens they actually hold more than what you originally got on the payment because they hold the whole amount, with the fee even though they never gave you the whole amount. So once you complete the dispute and its refunded it seems like you got that back. You never actually got any extra money.

I have to tell you your wrong sorry. I don't have holds bro. And secondly I have more than I started with fresh, finished and done with. Thanks for your input. I am contemplating doing the individual tertiary refunds of 25 to 50 cents a customer. I am roughly 9 dollars over from 15 purchases and 15 refunds precisely.

Why not open a thread on the paypal forums? They would understand you better...

I'm going to be a man and admit that you were right I counted the transactions and thought the refund went through. I was wrong one just went through, I was short after all.
