Made my first sale today guys! So happy!!

Guys! I just made my first sale today. I hope this will inspire some people!

Today was my FIRST day actually working on selling something on CB. I was so determined to sell, so I set up a blog on blogger, wrote a 5 different XXXX that you should XXXX type article, and placed 2 "Click Here" links in the article one in the middle and one at the end of the article. I went on Yahoo Answers and answered 35 questions exactly, all with different answers and I would link them saying by the way check out this blog I saw on this issue.

After a full day of trying, rewriting, rethinking, I made my first sale! :D Thanks for the inspiration BHW! I will donate as soon as I make a few more sales, this forum has been a goldmine to me in terms of getting motivated and teaching me ways to IM!

(btw this is my 1st ever sale online)

Oh god, I can't tell you how good it felt! I won't lie, I was having many doubts, but decided to just give it my all and get that ONE sale today, and I have to admit after this one sale, I now see that this is very possible and I will pursue it and try many different ways to market it now. If I have to give any tips to anyone who was having doubts like I was before I finally made my one sale, it is that you should pick one product and try one way of marketing it for a good amount of time and it WILL come. It DID come! :D

Really, Congrats!

Did you make your sale on day 1? I mean the same day? Any SEO done?
 
Yes! Day 1, trial and error all day, but got my first sale! What I did was make a blogger blog, put up one article on the front page, then linked people on Yahoo answers that I answered questions on to my blog and in the article had to "Click here to learn more" links in the article. I answered exactly 35 questions, but all quality answers, one of them got best answer. In terms of SEO, not at all. Now I have to explore ways on growing my reach.

Did you use a lvl.2 account on yahoo answers?

yes, I did use a lvl. 2 acct on Y!A I happened to actually have one of my own that was level 2 from a long, long time ago which I actually used to use to help people. See? Helping people paid off! :P

LOL, what if the person charged back :P That would be funny :P Hopefully it doesn't happen.
 
Congrats, made few sales my self.. but easier way.. advertising :) ... If I knew that I would spend lets say 10hrs building something and it pays out $500 that = $50p/hr ... I would do it.. otherwise my time is too precious.
Done blogging for years and years after making 6figures / time spent = $60 p/hr and almost 4-5hr sleep.. said no thanks..

Anyway, congrats!!!! Happy for you...

Thanks everyone! :D Will post updates with different techniques I try! I think I'm going to try YT with CB!
 
My first sale took a little longer than my first day, but the feeling was awesome. I'm a little jealous, but congrats anyway.
 
Congrats! I will definitely check CB out.

I thought I would share that I have made my first sales on fiverr with in the last few days, surprisingly, to me at least.
