Made more backlinks then my competitor still not ranking

Hi,

I got a website which is ranking on 2,3 page I made so many backlinks quality backlinks ( PBN , web 2.0 ) only still my website is not ranking on 1st page, I asked my friend he said you need to drive some social traffic to your website real social traffic from facebook,twitter and all others but my niche is not really famous I dont know how to drive traffic or what to do increase my ranking other than backlinking.


Please advice me thanks

How old is your domain? If the sites on page 1 are established with a lot of authority it will take time as well as good links.

my domain is 8 months old and 1st page on 2nd number website has low PA DA then I have and no PR.
 
have you added social media accounts and did some media marketing on them with it carrying your URLS? hows your On page SEO?

I did not do any social media marketing I just made account on facebook. one page seo he super high.

Hmmm hard to say. Make sure your anchor texts are over optimised and that your onpage stuff is all good?

Other than that can be hard to say without seeing it.
 
What's your bounce rate?
How much quality content do you have?
How many return visitors do you receive?
How often do you update your site with new content?
Do you include pictures with your content?
Do you include videos with your content?
Are all your media files SEO optimized?
Is your content interlinked?

This is a VERY SMALL list of things to consider, when pondering about your search engine ranking.

Backlinks are important, but there are so many other factors to consider.
Fortunately, you can learn about all this, here, at BHW!
 
SEO is no longer a game of quantity but quality.

I have several sites ranking well without any social signals or traffic.
You have to take caution of the kind of advice you listen to.
A lot of people are just out there beating around the bush with
no damn clue of how things work.
 
After all the panda, penguin updates, now it is not about quantity but quality. About 7, 8 years ago any website with a huge number of backlinks would rank on the first page even if it had little to no content. But now the scene has changed. A lot of factors play vital role in the ranking of a website. From what I see even the age of a domain name plays a good role in the rankings of a website. Make sure your links are quality and post quality content on your website regularly and one day you would get to the first page definitely.
 
you can get higher traffic then baclink method.There are different ways to improve traffic to your website such as


1.Advertise your website with display advertising are all excellent ways of attractin visitor, building your and getting your site in front of people
2.it's not enough to produce great content and hope that people find one of the best to increase raffic to your website to use social media channels to promote your content
3. try to persuade other sites o link back to you
4. To start guest blogging
it will help to improve traffic on your website rather than backlinking process:)

You can buy social traffic and even buy facebook likes, plus ones and the rest for your site but the bad news is that none of that is going to help you rank higher. Time and more links are what you need.
 
It's so funny to come back here after a while seeing everyone still not realizing that traffic is king.

Bounce rate, pages per visit, reached goals is SO important in Google's eyes nowadays. Yet, easy to fake :).

Well, I actually was aiming on the fact that a good working user interaction design is very important nowadays (besides filling it out with interesting content).

But yes, you can actually rank your site higher with fake traffic, if you know what you're doing. It basically all comes down to making your site seem very popular, traffic is one of the things that can do that besides (social) links/shares.

You need to search the right keywords.

Backlinks are the main factors for the traffic.
I already have 30,000 article content.
It has very little traffic because I did not do a keyword search.

You only need a few backlinks with random keywords

It's not about the UXD itself, it's about what the UXD does with your traffic. Forget about (many) backlinks, I see sites rank for huge keywords with barely any links. It's simply because they're popular and people stay on the sites for long times. Which, in the eyes of Google, means that they have provided a searcher with good results and thus the site will rank higher.

how can bring traffic lol we cant get traffic until its on 1st page 2nd my site is for CB so i need to more users to cb product site so i can get some lead :) the only way i can see is fake traffic.
