I made a Clickbank product recently. It's not my first.

The difference this time is I'm totally burned out. I can't do marketing anymore. Honestly, f**k this sh*t.

Anyone got any recommendations what I should do now?

I'm not especially looking to sell because I know I wouldn't get much for it. How can I promote easily or spending minimum of money? I'm not underestimating what being a vendor entails, I've been there and done it. Just this time I can't do this stuff anymore. Any ideas?

Why don't you set back and let the Clickbank affiliates do all the promoting
    and selling for you?

That is not how Clickbank works bro. You need to work at it to get affiliates.

A lot of people think you can just open your site for sale and sit back. Not at all.

I know that feeling... It's really not somewhere you want to be for too long.

You need to take a break, maybe a few days, try and have some fun and then look for inspiration, find what inspires you and get as much of that into your system and get back to work, in the end the rewards will be much greater than the effort if you pull through.

Word bro never give up. I made no money my first year online at age 18, just learned and learned and learned. Made $50,000 at 19 last year. And this year I've made $100,000+ ALL ONLINE. So it's def possible bro, take a few days off, get reinspired and go into proven markets. Good luck dude.

Thanks, I will take a break. It could be a long one though.

Been at marketing over 5 years and although full-time, I'm earning only like 20,000 bucks so its just not worth the hassle. I'm looking for a full-time job now.

First I would go through any blogs related to your product and contact the owners asking if they would be interested in promoting the product (tell them they can get a review copy by replying to you) - this can be done fairly quickly with a template that you only change the name and website name on.

Secondly I would go to forums that are related to your product and do some self promotion - maybe even contact the owners there with a similar technique and ask if they can do a review post?

You can buy a few adwords vouchers on fiverr for 5 dollars, (about 500$ worth i think) so by designing a catchy ad you could get traffic that way and as you can use your own link and cut out affiliate commissions. (IDK if adwords allow CB sites, I can remember somewhere they may not - in this case, create a quick blog with a review or something on it and direct the ad traffic there)

Are there any people popular in your products area? (for example a Poker technique niche may have recognised players) and maybe they would be interested in tweeting about your product for a fee or for the commission rates. (once again, havent tried this so it may not work but hey - what do you have to lose by asking!)

Can't think of anything else, but hopefully these few fairly simple ideas will help you out a bit :)

Oh and heres an inspirational video to help you get buzzed for IM again :D

Well, are you burnt out, with cash in the bank, or are you burnt out and broke? Those are two different situations. In the first case, I suggest you go on a one week holiday without a computer. In the latter case... I really don't know :)

5 years is a long time...but it flies by doesn't it when you are working hard and having no life.... unfortunately....I understand what you are saying
Would say go to dp or wf and promote your product there....
do you have a list? (should build one if you don't)...

Anyways, maybe a job is better... you'll have more time, you just won't be able to pick when you have it....

and while working at a job you can use that time to sit back and rethink, or work on a long term investment....because then there is no rush to make money fast...just taking it step by step

if it is on IM , sell it as a WSO , then from that WSO create the buzz about it , and offer your affiliate 75% commission and sit back !
The only thing that makes affiliate come to you rather than you looking for them is the buzz , the more buzz there is about a product the more people will promote it .

Yeah thanks. Actually, I know what to do, it's just I don't have the energy. I am taking a breather right now to do some long overlooked self development such as learning how to pick up girls and learning languages. I originally planned a month for this but it looks like it will end up being just 2 weeks.. I will check out that video, thanks

Burn out and broke. I've never been able to reinvest anything because I've always had huge bills to pay. So annoying. And I kept at it, thinking it would turn the corner.

For all my small achievements and increases in income, I take big hits from things like Panda. I'm really fucking sick of IM actually. People should not be selling the dream of going full-time in IM. The truth is that the IM world changes so much that it is not easily sustainable for many years. Even 5 years is tough. As for 10 or 20 years, who knows if the internet will even exist then?

Thing is, all my income is autopilot. So I can take a short break which is sorta what I'm doing now, albeit at home. In a month's time, I may go on vacation though. I just recently had a big tax bill that took me 3 months to pay off so I don't really wanna spend any more right now.

Hehe, yeah how come you can relate? Done a similar thing?

I am actually known on Warrior Forum. Have been there for years. This place is way better though. I don't hang there as much now. Same for DP. I have built lists but I find it incredibly difficult. People say "build a list" and I've done that in dozens of niches but I can never make any freakin money from it except on the one-time offer. I never make anything when I email people, all I get is abusive messages and I'm barely selling to them at all! I just can't win. I've totally given up on list building now, it's a waste of my time.

Yep, I'm gonna get a real job again. My problem is that I am 5 years out of the workforce. So who will employ me now? I don't have recent experience in my last industry, I am totally new to any other type of industry, plus if you have been self-employed then you are treated like an 18 year old kid who never worked before. It's ridiculous!

I even looked at real SEO/PPC companies. Real SEO/PPC is a lot different to "offline marketing" as we know it. There's a lot of tools and analytical work, it is really nothing like what we do.

I know I can get a job at McDonalds but I'm like mid-30s now, that would seriously crush my self-confidence to do a shit job like that, especially as I went to university and worked at some big companies after.

Ahh sorry - but learning to pick up girls you say? Not sure if you've heard for Simplepickup? It's three guys who make videos on picking up girls - the videos are hilarious but apparntly they have a forum that offers real advice!

Oh and "How much does a polar bear weigh? Enough to break the ice" is enough to pickup anyone :D

Hehe, yeah thanks. The pickup industry is HUGE. So maybe I can monetize it too though that's not my priority.

In fact, there's a Clickbank product that everyone seems to be promoting at the moment, it's called "Tao of Badass". Maybe I should get in front of the camera and start recording, eh?

I quite regularly get emails from other people with clickbank (and other) products they want me to promote. Since CB requires that vendors have a support email somewhere on their site, you can conjure up some sort of JV email with a bit of a bonus to offer specific vendors in your niche and send them a request to do an email blast to your product. Most will probably ignore this email, but some will reply. If your niche has a decent gravity amongst your competitors (and quite often your partners in the end) then you might stumble across some gems. This will not only build up an email list for you, but also get the sales moving and your gravity on an upswing.

Consider it just as a bad period and move on. Remember, a lot of people do not make even $2 on the net, actually 95% of all online marketers do not even get close to making any sale. And you have done it. Reconsider what has worked for you in the past, what can still work in today's environment. Go step by step. I did not make any sales in the first months as a vendor, and than suddenly all went better and I have been having solid clickbank product for the past 3 years with constant sales.
