Is there such a thing as a macro bot that can control an entire desktop AND be programmed to do some tasks at random, like how long it waits or which object it clicks next?

Been look around forever for a decent macro tool. Most are cheap junk that doesn't have any "smart" features I can add if/then's to. I need something that can TAKE OVER a desktop just like a human.

Does this exist or do I need to just have it built from scratch?

Control an entire desktop as in ? You're not being very specific.

AutoIT can pretty much automate anything, is pretty easy to work with and free.

You can emulate mouse movements and clicks, keyboard, start, kill programs and lots of other things.

I need something I can train to do mouse clicks and fill in forms and open/close programs.... but I need it to be able to allow me to program in rules for it's behavior such as making it hold for 3 minutes and then perform one of three actions at random.

From memory I have seen AutoIt macros do that ... it can also be taught to wait for certain events regardless of time, so it helps to speed things up baseing on events rather than forced wait forever. You might want t find someone on fivrr or tenrr that will do the basics for you (ie screen capture what you need), they could even do it remotely on your desk top, and make sure they annotate each line so you can EASILY change as needed

Then yes AutoIT will do the job for you.

You can set wait time, you can make repeated tasks, you can make it click, type, open, close, wait for, emulate and a whole lot other bunch of stuff.

For people starting up AutoIT is fairly easy and friendly to use and you can even make a GUI (visual program window to set options and stuff, a bit more advanced but not so hard)

AutoIt is a programming language guys... something you use to MAKE your own macro program. But I could say the same thing about C++.

What I'm looking for is a PRE-CREATED ready to use macro program that I can simply input rules and modify behavior. A flexible macro bot.

I forgot, they have a nice tutorial section
    http://www.ubotstudio.com/tutorials

Maybe you could look at the interface and see if it will work for you
