I have a Macro Express script that can run fully-automated. The only way it can go "wrong" is if there are other instances of Internet Explorer running. So my thought for a solution was to setup a second logon account, run Macro Express there, while doing my other computing on a different logon account.

My thought was that, without anything else being run on the Macro Express logon, there won't be anything to distract or confuse it while it's trying to do it's thing.

Any ideas? Or am I just going to have to try it.

What you want is a virtual machine, download VMPlayer (http://www.vmware.com/products/player/) and create a windows image, it is just like a windows installation but will run on a isolated enviroment so you can run anything without having to have the window of it open or your interactions interrupted or anything.

There are other options to virtual machine softwares but I found VMPlayer the easiest one to deal even for starters.

To create the image, it is just like installing a new windows, on the step by step of the VMPlayer you will be asked by either a CDROM or a ISO file to install the OS from you can install pretty much any OS you wish. Keep it mind that the virtual machine will share your memory and CPU, which you configure when installing the Image.

If you search on google you can also find VMPlayer images ready to go, that you can download and run without even the need to install the OS but I dont know any reliable sites that you can download those.

Well here is like the 9,998th post extolling the virtues of virtual machines. I am just going to have to drink the kool-aid and try it out. Thanks for the tip.

Any questions feel free to ask, I've used VirtualBox and several different version of VMWare's products including VMPlayer which runs on linux and windows and is fairly easy to install and run.
