Don't know how much this'll help people, but it's the first actual contribution I've made being a newb and all.... Anyway, I went in to lunarpages and started the signup process. Right before I clicked to finalize the deal (after i entered my email address... this is key), I closed the page. So here is what happened: since I already had submitted my email and details, but I didn't end up buying, it looked to them like I got cold feet and they sent me an email, telling me they'd give me 50% off.
