We’re looking for an awesome ASSISTANT MANAGER, who wants a fucking job: to jump on board with us, we don’t want Karen's or Darren’s, so please no wet wipes, or Debbie downers, I’ve heard it all before that you’re rude, you’re unprofessional, that were the arseholes, you’re childish blah blah, jump on your phone and dial 0121-go-fucking-do-one as you’re not what I’m looking for!
We need someone that can hit the ground running, and not have to be told again and again, and still fuck shit up, we’ve wasted so much time and money, we just want someone who has a work ethic to succeed, commitment and accountability!
Seriously now, if you’ve got the experience within a managerial role within hospitality, let’s say 2 years as a minimum requirement, with no coke, crack habit or drink problem or wants to use the shop to peddle their drugs, and definitely someone who hasn't got mould under their finger nails or nails like samurai swords, I think then that’s a good fucking start, after all we are a food establishment, not Zanzibar.

Is it too much to ask that someone is fully committed, wanting to kick arse and help us grow our brand, who takes things on board and works with us and not against us, if that sounds like you-then get in touch, we want our potential superstar who will come to an interview looking casually presentable and on time and not look like they’ve been dragged through a hedge with the motivation of a sloth.
You can’t bring your friend, dog, or cat to the interview either, and don’t even think of walking through the door with a can of fucking monster in your hand – I think you catch my drift

Simply put, and I don’t fucking care we DO NOT want applicants who just want to show universal credit that they're applying for jobs with absolutely zero intention, you must have experience and knowledge in the hospitality industry, with that drive and passion to succeed! And for fuck’s sake no school-leavers! Please read the advert.
The professional bit:
Assistant Manager Responsibilities:
1) Support your Store Manager and the business by driving performance and exceeding targets.
2) Ensuring that outstanding operational standards for our product and place are met at all times.
3) Looking after our Customers needs by being the face of the business, welcoming and making sure we are delivering a fantastic experience every time!!
4) Supervising shifts to ensure that sales and profitability opportunities are maximized!!
5) Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed!!
6) Proactively coach and support the team at every opportunity, and at the same time make it fun!

Plus plenty of other shit…… that’s on a piece of paper.
Hours, pay etc to be discussed, this role will involve a 30-35 hour contract , on a rota basis, and will be evenings – just to clear that up…. Start times 5/5.30 and finish times are typically 11pm. So you’ll be missing your Emmerdale and all that shite.
It’s not fucking minimum wage, and no I’m not putting how much as it depends on experience and other things, there are many factors to consider. Could be 30-45% above minimum wage, but it’s all based on experience and what can be offered.

We’re based in Cwmbran - Springvale Industrial Estate, so do your research if you want a job, and yes my punctuation and grammar is shite, and I don’t give a toss – the joys of being the owner!!!
If you're a whingy ‘shit house dosser’ and find this offensive, move on as there’s not a place here for you nor do I care about your opinion.
Anyway, Interested—Pop your CV, and a cover letter over to:

I couldn't work for someone like this, especially not at 30-45% above minimum wage for an assistant manager position. They just sound really toxic. They say they don't want Karen's or Darren's, but this is EXACTLY how Karen or Darren talks. I think they misunderstand what a Karen is. They will treat you like shit, and if you complain, they will tell you it's part of the joys of being the owner!!!

You are missing the point here of this, but it does sum up the UK from an employers perspective in some industries....
This explains it a little better; "we’ve wasted so much time and money, we just want someone who has a work ethic to succeed, commitment and accountability!"

Very nice employer i have to say LOL

I understood that is the employer's view of the situation. The reality is often quite different from their view though. They are not taking on any responsibility themselves, but rather shifting all blame to the employees. They are trying to argue that the only reason they have to keep replacing employees is that they are either incompetent or lack a good worth ethic. Notice they don't mention anything about their own incompetence, in that they haven't been able to hire and keep employees. That's their failure as the owners, but they genuinely don't see it that way. Until they admit their own failures, they will likely not keep employees. Why should a random employee who is earning a garbage wage that barely supports them be committed to their toxic employer? They should be immediately looking for the next job that pays better and has a better environment.

Damn. I fuckin love Welshmen (and women). Travelling there is on the bucket list

The guy is a bit of a douche nozzle, but (from vast experience) there is pretty much a zero work ethic in the UK.

And, unfortunately, the 'managers' only care about this quarter's number, and have no long term view.
