Got a site with almost no content and 8.3% CTR (Adsense). Now, I`m in a niche that`s hard to write anything (at all) about. I still wanna rank, though, I wanna ramp this thing up. But how hard is that when I`ve got almost no content at all? Off course it depends on how much competition I`ve got etc, but the competition aint THAT bad.. My comps got 3-400 inlinks etc.. Got over a million hits a month, though..

You need a little bit of content. I tend to find that once you've got 3 paragraphs of badly spun twaddle, it can rank well. Just write any old garbage, with a keyword density of about 5%, 3 paragraphs long. Then, build your backlinks. Should be fine.

Ah, great stuff. But if I wanna rank for the main index and not on any other of the pages; does it even matter where I put the articles? It`ll probably look pretty bad having articles on the first page, being in the niche I`m in and all.. ;) Really, I shouldnt have ANY content on the main index..

If you have some content with your keywords and a lot of links you can rank. Look at the viagra niche. Most of those pages have very little content, but a lots of links and they are ranking.
