    Hello,

As stated in the title there's tons of e-books and threads out there regarding SEO techniques but I'm looking to get some insight from what people are actually doing. I think this thread is going to help a lot of people.

So, how do you do SEO? From writing articles to getting backlinks.
    - How do you write your articles, what do you pay attention with?
    - Where do you get your backlinks from and how? How many a day?
    - What kind of anchors do you use, diversified or not?
    Examples could continue...

I don't read any eBooks, I test everything myself and see what works for me. If something works for one site, it might not work for other.

I love blog posts, they work best for me!

I don't write articles or build links myself, I just outsource everything lol.

I use diversified anchors - 20% money keywords, 40% generic, 40% raw URL.

But that's white hat. I focus on black. I love doing 301 redirect, like create unreadable one-page website, spam tons of links, redirect, rinse and repeat.

I outsource the majority of the SEO I do, however I do write manual blog comments and guest posts on relevant, high PR pages.

I know some people who have had luck with setting up a lot of 10 or so web 2.0's that concentrate on your company and link using urls or compnay names to your money site, they then also set up 10 or so more web 2.0's and focus on a keyword and link using keywords and variations back to the money site.

All the replies are pretty vague. For instance, some people gave examples that they do link building by commenting on high PR pages. How do you find those pages?

What about the articles themselves? How do you write them?

OP, this thread is holding you back from succeeding.

Test out variables until you find how YOU do SEO.

    Anchors:

I invest a lot in "call-to-action anchor texts". That is, instead of creating backlinks that use the obvious keyword to rank, I use more human diversified anchors such as: "click here", "for further info, view this"
"watch the following", "to get a decent price, please click" , "dont click!" etc.

    Content:

I try as hard to provide my users the best content, and as far as I'm concerned, good content is:
    1. diversified. i.e., text. images, galleries, maybe a video (depends on the niche), further readings, categories, tags, social buttons,
    2. the GUI of the page must be stimulating×¥ The last thing I want is users who fall asleep or navigate away for a loaded text with no added value
    3. No spinning, no duplicate.
    etc.

    Backlinks:

Good quality backlinks are hard to find. all those shitty fiverr gigs wont last long, not even auto-tool made. so, I try as hard to buy good links from good websites and that are positioned in a prominent location in the website. I use anchors as stated above. My main focus is links that drive traffic and just pasted for the bots to see

    Social:

Facebook drives great traffic so...I run a Like campaigns for a couple of months, just together relevant likes through Facebook PPC, and then, every post or something you post on your wall, drives traffic to your websites.

And there are so many more methods that are unique per niche.

Writing- rarely i write myself, mostly outsource it with great content writers from BHW (will be happy to recommend some if you need). When i do write myself i let others do the proofread. i don't use any spinned or scraped content, and always try to make the content with the user in mind.

Anchors- i always mix main keywords, relevant expressions and general terms (like 'click here' etc), and use the main one in a 1:2 ratio to the others.

Backlinks- i build/buy backlinks from 3 major groups- 1. Niche targeted links- niche targeted guest posts, niche targeted forum posts, niche targeted blog comments. 2. social signals- from all major networks, constantly drip feed. 3. High authority backlinks- press releases, high PR homepage links etc.
for second tier backlinking i use private blog networks, web 2.0, wiki links, social bookmarking and more of these kinds

No one is going to tell you their money making method, link type I can think of right now to use are social bookmarking, guest post, HP PR, Contextual High Pr, Directory Submission, sick anchor diversity, sick link diversity, it's up to you to fused this together, test and test till you get the right strategy that works for you.
