ok guys so I bought a 1k links package and 6k link package, had my site blasted for both packages in one day and lost all my rankings but I am still indexed. Is that the case of the sandbox or the google dance? Needed to ask because I have never really had this happen before.

Don't worry about it, just keep on building links. It's just the Google Dance.

I agree with both OP probably the google dance, no way google crawled all your blasts and sandboxed you that quickly.

Sad thing is you never know. Just keep building backlinks and see where it takes you.

It could be good dance or the recent algo change :) I got kicked out from 1st page to 5th, that time I was think it could be cause of linkbuilding then I saw topic about that on webmaster world and google forums. however its depend on how old is your site though

If you're a new site there's a chance you may be filtered out for more than a little while. If you're older than a year you should bounce back okay relatively soon.

keep building links and make sure you sprinkle in some high authority shit. also, build some links on some new fresh 2.0 sites that haven't been abused.
