Lost all my reddit subs today - Don't be like me!

A bad day for me today... All my reddit accounts were permanently suspended. Obviously, I was stupid enough to create and use them from the same IP and device. I owned 5 NSFW subs (40k total subs) and they are all gone. I can't add new mods, so they will get banned in 30 days for lack of moderation. Oh well...

Don't be stupid like me guys! Use proxies, buy aged accounts, and only use your personal reddit account for stupid stuff, like watching porn.

PS - the reason for the permanent suspension was even more stupid - I got into an argument with other users about parking your car on the sidewalk. I got really irritated and said some terrible words to that person. In 2 days I got banned from that subreddit for "threatening other users". During the next weeks, I used my other accounts to post on the same sub.

i feel your pain, because i do a lot of testing many times i use several accounts simultaneously and it happen be in the same subreddit too, so the next thing i know is both of my accounts are gone
 
I agree with you @tziahs that was really stupid :D

But hey, you can't change it and the sooner you start realizing that, the sooner you'll get back on your feet and come back even stronger and smarter ;)

Don't give up. No matter how many times you fall, you have to get up and try again.

Every master has failed more times than anyone else who has ever tried.
 
This is why I am starting to doubt whether Reddit is worth it

If mods can ruin 2 months of your work in just 5 minutes?

Is it really worth it?

Better spend time elsewhere.

Damn. Something similar happened to me, got into adult niche and got a subreddit to 10k members in like a month with barely any work.
Started generating some money but randomly got removed. :(

Yeah reddit is anal about breaking TOS regarding posting in banned subs from other accs (spamming in their eyes)

If you want I could try to claim your sub on /r/ModRequest or whatever it is when the 30 days is up :^)

^^^^^ Nah but you could probably do that yourself on an aged account but you'd need to say you've been very active in the subreddit(s) discord for months and months or something that'd make them think you'd be fit to run the banned sub

True... Just really get daunting and stressful asf... This life is wayyyy too f up for a lotta mfs... Wayyyy more for other than some others... Remember buying a few reddit accs and they turned out all banned even before I ever had the chance to use them... Who's cause is that...? Idefk

This is a really good idea OP, just make sure you're properly equipped next time around.
 
This might take a while but it will work. Start a new account that is in no way linked to your accounts that are banned. Start a new NSFW subreddit or look around for ones that are needing moderators and ask them if you can help moderate. Get your new account up to 500 Karma. After a while of moderating with your new account go to r/Redditrequest and request to take over your subreddits.
 
Dont worry i lost 70k divided subs and 125k karma account but i intend to make it worth it this time i have other account 37k karma started second account this time i will make it big hope i can recover some of the subs

Sorry to hear that.
That's why most of my subs have 3-4 mods, most of which are my alts or my friends accounts, just in case.

Adult subreddits are controlled by very few select moderators. You shall have seen that post where thousands of OnlyFans content profiles got suspended suddenly and many subreddits were banned and later handed over to select few moderators.

If you dig dip then you will notice certain moderators controlling 50+ adult subreddits.

There was a post which mentioned in detail that how many moderators of adult subreddits were seeking favors from OnlyFans profiles and if they didn't comply then their profiles were suspended. Also many have complained that adult subreddit moderators provide preferential treatment to specific OnlyFans models. There is a conspiracy theory that the moderators of those subreddits earn commision through that and hence severely control everything.
