So i followed everything that the ebooks and profetionals have said about building a website and to always go for EMD's. I am one of many that got hit hard with penguin. I have 5 EMD MNS and all were ranked top 10 pre penguin. Post penguin, they are not even in the top 100.

I dunno if they all are dancing or got de indexed. Correct me if im wrong but is this how you know if your website is indexed by google - by placing (site:http://www.mywebsite.com) onto the google search bar?

So far i stopped all link building to be on the safe side.

    1. Yes you are correct on how to check if your sites are indexed.

    2. Fuck Google and fuck giving up. You more than likely just need to build some more natural "click here", "URL", etc type links. You should also get some social media action to your site. Chances are that it will bounce back.

    3. This is why you absolutely must diversify your income. It's not just a fancy saying. Learn to make money with paid ads, clickbank, CPA, etc. When you have a steady stream from different resources, Google won't control your life which is a damn good thing.

Best of luck to you dude.

    Use site:yourdomain.com (without www)

Yes, emphatically follow all that ff1227 said, and try to streamline the SEO on the MNS. Post penguin, it seems Google looks at MNSs that are decked out with all the SEO tactics, and judging that to be a sign of spam. If you trick out your bicycle to make it look like a ferrari, it's still a bicycle. Google sees a small site with 100 SEO tweaks on it and says "overoptimized," so be careful about how you build them.

My sites are still fine, they dropped like two spots but went back up to #1 within two days.

First of all MNS's are definitely not over, i have a MNS going on strong even after the penguin update, only reason i have lost top rank, im on 3rd, is because i stopped doing any SEO on it therefore lost my authority for the position. Anyway, that MNS was initially brining me in 50 hits perday now around 20, the SEO was a package from BST, it was a really good service within a month propelled me to the top of Google. Just one thing, make sure instead of doing 1 ARTICLE on your keyword, you have a RANGE of keywords say 3-5, and have around 3-5 ARTICLES, 1 per keyword, variation is key trust me.

Anywhere in the world building WP sites.
There are many ebooks out there, which one did you follow?

There are also many ways to build links. Which one did you follow?

Some people are still doing fine with their MNS. Maybe they're lucky, but I DO witness sites with a handul pages rank well.

Some of my experimental sites with hundreds of pages are hit, but smaller sites survive both Panda and Penguin.

I started my First MNS literally as the Penguin Struck and i still havnt got into the top 100, but my website is indexed on google... I have been ranked in yahoo and bing currently (because its been bouncing around alot) in not but atleast it shows that what i am doing is slightly working.

A MNS is just a site that is 1-5 pages and targeting a niche with little competition. As long as there is a search engine there will be MNS's ranking. It's not inherently BH.

It's not like autoblogs which came and went, for the most part.

MNS and Snipers are running stronger than ever over here. Just write naturally and get your links from non-shitty places.

It's all about backlink diversification people. Mix up your anchor text and don't just target a few keywords.
