    Im just minutes away from throwing my laptop out of the window, so hopefully someone can help me with this. If I use static frontpage with thesis, how can I change H1 tag to be something else than blog description? WITHOUT having 2 H1 tags at other pages?

    If someone have solution, I will be eternally grateful.

    Oh boy, I hope it would be that easy.

    I have tried to change it with Thesis custom_functions, but If I change it there, it change it for all the pages and then I have duplicate h1 tags. I tried to use WP is_home conditional tag, but it seems it does not work (read something about it does not working with some themes), so can't change it for frontpage that way.

    Camoon, I know someone have allready figured this out?

    Use is_front_page() function to check if you're on the front page.
    codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/is_front_page
    Put your h1 in php if statement something like that:
    Code:
    <?php if (is_front_page()) {?> <h1>something</h1? <?php } ?>

    if it doesn't work try with is_home() function.

    Thanks for trying to help, but I have allready tried this, but for some reason is_front_page() (or is_home) conditional tags are not working with thesis...

    Use an image header in place of blog title. This should remove the H1 tag from blog title and move it to the title of the page.
