Don't forget that if and when you listings recover, Google now uses 3 sponsored links and inserts news feeds etc at the top of the results so the chances are that you aren't going to see the click through rate that you were when you had good positions.

This will happen all the time, especially if you have done any editing work.

Fluctuations are normal and happen everyday - you will go crazy wayching this and it will do you no good except to drive you crazy.

I am having the exact same problem. My site is 9 months old. I focused on a HIGHLY competitive niche. I think my problem is backlinks though. If anyone is willing to offer some advice the site is

This is not google sandbox. But this is google dance. I have the same problem too. I have lose my organic traffic.

I can tell you why. Google made one of it's biggest upfdates in January. Google now trusts brands more than it used to. Some branded websites have been catapulted to the top spot.

They've taken the emphasis off penalising spammy sites and given more positive results to brands and trusted sites.

Basically Google changed it's algorithm which is why you're not ranking anymore.

And, if you had a quality website with good and worthwhile content that everyone links to, then your rankings improved?
