Hi everyone,
My name is Adrian, I live in Romania and I`ve been involved with IM little over a year now. I`m still on my road to greatness and success, still learning a lot (mostly because of BHW), experimenting, testing and creating my own road.
I have a great deal of experience with NLP (Neuro-Linguistic programming), which I`ve been using in various situations in my life. To be totally honest, the majority of time I use it to pick up chicks at local pubs and clubs, or to loosen up deadlines with my projects since I`m quite lazy and like to sleep a lot.
But the other day, I had a meeting with someone who is heavily involved with IM, who wanted me to review some of his sales pitch copies and some of his texts from his landing pages. (I must add that this person makes around 3 figures a day with his review sites, landing pages for aff. products and youtube videos)
After reviewing them, I had only one conclusion. They were far from what they could be, in order for them to subconsciously create a bond between the potential customer and the product/service.
So, I want to ask you guys, here on BHW.
How many of you have used NLP in their copies knowingly? (It does not strictly refer to long texts for landing pages, NLP can be and is used for Youtube video titles for example)
How many of you think that they could improve their copies in such a way that a lead becomes hooked and wants to know more?
Do you create your copies ? Do you let someone else do them for you?
How do you think the quality of the copy affects you sales and your engagement?
With those questions in mind, and after seeing your answers, I will decide if I will start writing an e-book on the subject (NLP in Advertising has already been discussed somewhat, but I don`t know about NLP in IM).
So please, I would like to get some info, in order for me to get a big picture of how you guys conduct this type of "communication" if you may, with your prospects, clients, leads etc.
Sorry if there are slips in my english, it`s not my native language.
Cheers!
