Hey everyone i am currently seeking some information on buying things from flippa. I am a 20 year old EMT in connecticut taking home about 18-20k/yr after taxes.i am currently looking to purchase a website or app already generating 1000-1500/mo so i could work from home and for myself vs what i am currently doing.

My question is this. How much would a website already making 1-1.5k sell for? Is this something i can get in to with 0 experiance? most flippa sales offer some type of support for a few weeks or months after the purchase.

Also, Would it be possible to scale something like this from around 1k/mo to 3-4k/mo?

I am currently interested in an App with 950 downloads per month with expenses of around $97/mo and generating 1200-1600/mo. the BIN price is only 3k which seems off to me. If i could make my BIN price back after only 2-3 months of keeping the app then why would the person be selling in the first place? My other concern is the app is only 2 months old and i am unsure how to predict the longevity of something like this since i am very new to the idea.

PS, I currently own a domain name that i originally wanted to run as an eCommerce site but have still lost interest. i am thinking of switching it to a blog or review site but i am not sure how to monetize that. Also, I have no clue where to find a simple to use host for a site like that. i picked ecommerce because sites like shopify make it very easy and fast to set up your store.

Please, Any and all tips are hugely appreciated!

Usually on those sites they are not real numbers. they either pushed traffic to you to get sales up a month or two or they are fake orders. really have to do your research on those before you buy.

Best option would be to start something of your own. Take some time and read up here. I am sure you have down time as an EMT. Spend it reading. Then start working to build something up. Then you would know the in and outs of what you set up.

    Best of luck

That is, without a doubt, a scam.

    Don't buy that.

In terms of monetizing a blog or review site, generating an audience would be a good first step. You could then look for companies or startups offering affiliate programs or personally reach out to them to offer to post some content on your site in exchange for a small percentage of the number of sales or signups you generate as a result of your efforts.

Before you go ahead to commit yourself, ensure you have done your ground work. A genuine site earning between 1k plus per month, will cost 20k and above. If you see a listing that claims to be earning 1k per month and the seller wants to sell it for $2k to $4k. Please run with your money.

Regarding the app, don't go near it. Like BTB said above, it is definitely a scam.

Since you are new to all this, rather than buy a single site that earns 1k+, while not split the money and buy 2 websites making at least $600+ monthly? You can grow it from there.

You can also look at empireflippers, feinternational.

Why would you ever drop your hard earned money on something you don't have a clue about?

Depends on site(s) age, if it is passive income or not, if its is evergreen niche or some mumbo jumbo site selling fake reviews, if it have rankings (organic traffic) or not etc..
But if I had a site with $1K monthly of passive income I wouldn't give it away under $30,000

Depends on a niche, site, traffic source etc..

Any kid can setup "a store" but you need targeted traffic to sell something. So, it doesnt matter if you are Amazon affiliate or eCommerce store, you need quality traffic. No one will visit your site just cause you decided you wanna work online. You either need to rank for KWs or to buy ads.
