Hey BHW,

I got a decent opportunity here for the right people(s). It's going to be in the weight loss niche.

I created a weight loss vest and used it to shred 50LB+ and now I'm looking to launch a crowdfunding campaign in order to get enough resources going to manufacturer the vests & get everything going.

I've got the site, the sales copy, the prototype, an LLC, I need: someone really good with graphics and someone really ambitious who see's the potential here who is going to be able to do a lot of the initial marketing work or pay for press releases & some other things in order to get this campaign going (a few of these other campaigns have raised 6 figures, once again this is the weight loss niche and it's a product that allows anyone to lose weight without doing much work)

If you want to talk shoot me a PM and we'll exchange Skype information, then I can show you 1. my product 2. the site 3. the competition etc etc

Still looking for someone talented & ambitious to help out. Potential earnings = 6 figures for both of us if done right

Is there any science behind this vest? Social proof has been done time and time again, it's not as effective as it used to be anymore. The marketing you need for a weight loss product is someone in the science niche.

The only way to lose weight is being in a caloric deficit. Things like a weighted vest will make you burn a few more calories, but it's the same as riding a bicycle or eating less food. There's no science behind weight loss products, the answer is always 'caloric deficit'.

Nope I totally agree. However there will be scientific products in the future to increase calories burnt. I can't see a vest having anything scientific, I can just see it being a fad. If you can lose 50lb with the vest, you can lose 50lb without the vest. There is no significance here.

In the future I feel there may be some good scientifically developed products for weight loss, especially entering an era of an obesity crisis. Maybe something that induces higher metabolisms such as something to create brown fat faster.

But all in all, this vest will be pretty useless at being marketed in a weight loss niche, way too competitive. If you are a small guy in the weight loss niche, you need hell of a good product.

I completely agree with your arguments

Yes there is science behind it. I have all of it documented on my sales page. I'll be happy to discuss/share references (which are .gov references) that support my claims.

For anyone still interested in doing this JV. feel free to PM me if you meet these requirements:

1)
You're in the USA
2) You have design experience (as in you've done this for a living)
3) You have a deep burning desire to achieve true financial success (I'm not talking $200 a month or $2,000 a month, I mean you wanna crack 6 figures by end of year)

Be sure to include your Skype handle in the PM and I'll reach out if I feel like you're a good potential fit.

100% but you're missing the point - if you give people something that they 'think' give them an edge, it might actually cause them to eat better / workout more and get into a caloric deficit. (placebo effect)

Thats the same argument i give FOR intermittent fasting... people are saying 'it doesnt matter if u fast or not' well, i think its way easier when u strict your eating and dont have to make the decision of 'what do i eat' .. that gets u into caloric deficit pretty easily thats why its successful not because its some magic.

All these weight loss products are scams. To lose weight, just eat less and move more. All the lotions, diet pills and even the vest are all scams.

Not really interested in the JV,
but good work with your weight, make yourself better everyday!
Good luck man

Yeah may be . We had seen in advertising . It just make your looks slim when we wear the vests. But that's not reduce the weight. But he claim that the weight will be reduced. This is the first time I heard like that. So I was ask my doubt.

these weighted vests are already available . and they work.

they build and tighten muscles just by having extra weight on you. so when you take it off, the muscles burn fat.

how much are you thinking per vest?
