I am looking for someone to build me a e commerce site that will be used to sell drop shipped products related to jewelry, gold etc. I would need the ability to easily upload products, collect e mail addresses and accept payment. I will be using money bookers and paypal as my payment platforms

I wouldn't use word press or magento when starting up..

You could use shopperpress but if you are taking the business seriously then i would go for something better..

Magento is great, but you need a dedicated server, shared hosting won't cut it.

Go for another shopping cart... OpenCart, ZenCart, Oscommerce, Prestashop etc.. You could install these your self and get someone to design you a template/theme or buy one from templatemonster....

You could still look at templates on templatemonster and find something you like and see if someone here can copy it cheaper.

A lot of cpanel hosting comes with scripts to install various carts, easy enough to learn to do it yourself.

Pretty sure paypal and moneybookers are standard with most of the scripts Cas87 mentions.

I hate magento. Only because you have to be VERY familiar with how it works, otherwise it'll be a headache.

Look into just oscommerce, open cart, volusion. Those should suffice for drop shipping.

I've built quite a few ecommerce sites and MOST stores are good with Wordpress. Some stores may need all sorts of complex cross sells, reviews, etc and that would be covered with Magento.

Depending on your budget I can offer several options ranging from cheap (under $99) to expensive ($4k+). PM me if you'd like more info about me and my services :)

If you have a good dropshipper margins can be high.

lol no problem, wordpress/shopperpress could probably work well for a small eCommerce business, i've just never considered it, i find Shopperpress and Opencart both easy to customize so if i was to sell real products i would go with OpenCart my self.

I do use Shopperpress for Amazon Affiliate sites.. & i think it is an amazing theme! it is very easy to customize so creating a good looking website doesn't take a lot of time or knowledge of CSS/PHP .. tbh google has an answer for anything you want to know.. also, if you want to copy a theme from templatemonster is is very easy..

While this is not identical or finnished yet, here is a Shopperpress site i am playing about with..

    Original screenshot..

    template.jpg

As it is, uncompleted, i think that is miles above the themes what come with shopperpress lmao.. just to show you what you can actually make a shopperpress theme look like

Search 38887 templatemonster for the original
