I am in search for the best of the best WP themes out there right now. The wp theme will be used for current news. I have a ton of themes locked and loaded, but I am looking for that one unique theme that stand out before all the rest. I am starting (or planning) a very large site and need that killer theme.

Ok well that sounds great and everything, Im sure everyone here is looking for this..

The important thing....Needs to be free.

Yes I have searched around in the DL sections and G, but still cant find a 10\10 great looking theme. Please bhw suggest to me a great theme that I just need to get for this new site.

you might want to look at the ibuilder theme from ithemes. It has a style plugin now that really lets you change the look of things without knowing css.

the only way to get a truly unique theme is to make it yourself, anything shared here or free is going to be used by multiple people

I second the recommendation for the iThemes Builder theme.
I let you "sculpt" your blog anyway you want it.

One of the coolest things is that you can add unlimited layouts to one blog.

One of the ways I use it is by offering a standard bloglook for the homepage but when my visitors click to read a page with a review there are no sidebars or other distractions.
Only way out is clicking my aff. link...:D

I used the Flexsqueeze theme to get the same "effect" but this one gives me more control.
