...Why do you want to delete someone else's website, and what makes you the judge of what a good or bad article is?

If you can't succeed by making your own products better and need to resort to maliciousness: Quit.

IF you mean take down your own websites and your own bad articles and remove from index/cache, then we can help.

The best way to counter bad information is with a huge influx of good information

If someone is slandering you or something you're working on (for example, giving bad reviews), create many positive reviews.

Give us some more information to make your request a bit more clear, I'm still a bit confused

your right, thats exactly what i was thinking in terms of publishing plenty of good articles.

but since the articles originally published were slanderous i thought perhaps having them taken down completly might be easier.

Since its a about an individual, im not sure how you would publish positive articles.

    Any ideas?

Contact the people who posted the libel (written slander) and ask them politely to take it down.

If they won't do that, report their site to their host for producing damaging content against you.

All else fails, go right to the search engine you found the libel on and report the site as spam/copyright infringing or whatever the case may be.

Damage to your reputation is not something to be taken lightly, and is at many times illegal. If you'd like, you can always write nice material and make yourself known publicly as the author. If you own a company, a press release wouldn't be the worst idea.
