This forum is great; thanks to everyone for posting such great stuff. But I'm starting at zero and I've got some sites to start promoting NOW. I don't have a year to get up to speed.

I need to get someone to help me with my new service sites now! (These are totally legit web-design and service sites with outsourced workers lined up and ready to work) I want to learn the SEO basics as we go along. I was hoping we could use TeamViewer so I follow along with what you're doing, maybe half hour a day, any time of your choice. Please quote me your best price since my sites don't have any revenue yet.

PS: I learn very fast, this is going to be fun!

This reminds of the sorta stuff I'd read when I used to troll Craigslist. I doubt you're going to find anyone really good willing to tutor you one-on-one at any price, but being cheap practically guarantees you're going to get scammed.

Really?? I thought I was being very original! The way I was looking at it, even someone who doesn't know much will still know more than me so how can I get scammed if I learn something? How much will I have to pay, you figure? Are the people on here students or high-paid programmers? Thanks for your input.

You mentioned that you learn very fast..

So, I suggest you start reading journey threads and learn from there. It's going to be fun reading too.

You're very likely to learn stuff that is flat out wrong. You'll then be out the money you paid for worthless training, the time you spent listening, and the time and resources you invest in implementation. Just follow the other poster's advice and learn by yourself. If it's obvious that you're putting in effort then people here and on other forums will be willing to help you fill in the gaps.
