Well, I am not an expert, but I will just give you my opinion.

    1) There are no pictures in the landing page.

Include at least one picture of that product.

    2) The landing page is too simple.

Ask yourself, if you were the average visitor and you would land there, what would you think for the page?

    3) You have not done your SEO right.

"Colon Cleanse Benefit & Colon Cleane Supplement"

Your title has a typo, and it isn't interesting at all. You need to lure the beginner to come in your website.

Note: If you search for colon cleanse, you will see many articles that show before your website that say how dangerous it is. This might be effecting your sales as well.

P.S.: I never worked with a landing page, so maybe I gave you wrong tips. This was just my personal opinion.

even if the page is ranking high on google, people may not even be coming to your site if that keyword isnt being searched much or many other reasons, like the official site is on the same google page as yours for that keyword

are you using google analytics to tell this?

are you using webmaster tools (goals) to see if there is any activity from a squeeze page to a landing page etc?

    Thanks much Bryan,

When my site came in google first page that time my site was full of interest like awesome title and images but was not converting well then some ppl said that your site looks just a affiliate page and sale page , you are forcing the visitor to purchase the products, need to change the page so i changed the look of my page. They given me advice to keep the absolutely natural page. But not getting any effect after that. As you said that you are not a landing page expert if you think a visitors point of view what would your suggestion? Yes you are right that my title is very simple and little meaning less respect of other site and Articles, some articles title have eye catching and attractive. I would try later. first want to change the page.

    Thanks for giving me advice.

Its absolutely way too plain. You need a picture of the product and a before and after of some gorgeous gal or guy with ripped abs. JMHO. Its way too boring and people are looking for quick fixes. Even if I were searching for colon cleanse and I landed on your page, I would leave right away. Download that traffic tactics training found here on BHW, they do a complete training on creating landing pages. Hope this helps. Have a great Sunday.

how many hits do you get daily?

based on that KW my take is that it would take a considerable amt of traffic to make 1 sale because the KW is too broad and general. It is not neccessarily a "buying keyword" and as a result will take more hits to convert.

additional I find the copy is not compeling enough to have me read the entire page. I skimmed really fast and nothing on your page stopped my skimming. You need some keyword based headlines/subheadlines, some catchy photos and **1 call-to-action**.
The "click here" on the top of your site may be too premature as you have not given them a chance to learn about, see the benefits and desire the product enough that if they do "click Here" (on top of the page) they will go ahead and fill out the info.

so to recap take your KW as the content on top of the page and thru the copy move them from the KW to wanting your product... in other words convert your internet surfer (since they came in for a broad non buying KW) and turn them into a buyer..

Your keyword is showing 8,200 searches in google for the last month.

You are number 13 out of 15 for the keyword ' colon cleanse '.

You have 34 links showing for your site and only 1 of them is a direct backlink listing inbound. All of the rest lead outbound.

This information above leads to the first step to getting conversion. You need to build yourself solid, legitimate, QUALITY backlinks to your site. This will also generate targeted traffic to an extent. You need to improve your seo game for building authority in the site for better rank position.

As for the actual issue of conversion when people come on the site...you have nothing to capture them, keep them there, or to sign up for to keep their interest long enough to close the sale. On a product like yours, there are going to be two types of people that purchase it. Someone that is trying to get into cleaner, healthier living; health junkies, over weight people, dieters...all fall into the first category. The second type are going to be people that are ill and are trying to find something to help them heal an issue outside of their Dr.'s normal means...to ' boost the effort ', so to speak.

I suggest you tap into both of those areas, do some targeted research and collect/build information on these topics.

If you own this product and can change the landing page, make it more content attractive. People that are going to take interest in what you are offering need to see more information. They are all in the ' investigative ' stage and collecting information about the product that will possibly give them the best results for their situation.

Collect articles from medical blogs on this topic and use their certified medical information to your benefit by sharing their articles on your site. Use a simple reference of

" Recently, I've read this article by DR. so-and-so on the topic and wanted to share it with you..."

Then, post the exact original article under that statement in your site, linking the name and site address of the author. This will build authority you need, as well as save you from building original content to begin with. Also, give your thoughts, if you are into the topic enough and KNOW what you are talking about. It will allow you to connect to the customer.

Next, build yourself an optin for a ' WEEKLY ' newsletter. A daily email turns people off, as it is overwhelming and annoying. A monthly newsletter is too long of a lapse between communications with you and your customer base.

*Open the letter with a short, 5-7 sentence paragraph with NO links until you reach the next section, which is article offers.

*Offer 3-5 articles, like what you have posted above or original, either way. Add in one suggestive offer for the product you are offering and don't push after that.

*Close out with a nice little " We are always here when you need us, as our goal is to provide a great resource to add to your healthy lifestyle. " ...or something to that effect. Show you care and are interested in them for more than their money.

You need to capture your audience and guide them into buying from you. Show them you have the solid source of what they need to buy to ' improve ' their issue...never claim to FIX/CURE it.

In closing, ( sorry for this long run here ), you need to work on getting the attention of the people you have coming in and market to them. You also need to promote your site better to improve your own position and push for a better level of the traffic you are already getting from the keywords you have.

    Hope this helps.

I disagree with this somewhat, as I don't think his issue is the kw selection at all. It is the keyword selection I would take on this as well. They aren't generic at all. He simply has nothing to capture their attention or interest to take them into the buying stage.

You can just use the " call to action " bit in this type of niche. This is an unknown product, people most likely new to the niche and investigating their options, weighing the safety, results and risks factors, as well as price.

This isn't just another ebook or amazon affiliate product you can push the same way. People have been trained in our culture that taking pills without knowing what you are getting is a bad thing, which is an incredibly smart habit to have. We all read and hear about those new pills popping up with claims of stopping one issue, only to have side effects causing 30 different additional things.

The people reading that sales page are going to be wanting to know all of the same information. The people looking at that page are going to be making the same jokes and concerning statements that you make at the commercials. IF they are looking for it, they come in from a want to improve their current condition in some way and feel the need for it. The fact that they are investigating it IS their call to action.

The point someone promoting it has to address is giving the client the information they need to relate to their target issue they are trying to resolve if the product being offered can do so safely and responsibly.

Marketing a product like this is a little more unique and requires the same unique style of approach. People are scared to take pills these days due to all of the law suites, losing livers, gaining extra diseases, etc.

It isn't like selling a computer part or sweater.

( Again, sorry so long here, just have a passion for the safety of potential customers where this stuff comes in. Risky business. )

the thing about keyword is this; it tells you at what point in the buying process the searcher is at, for example a person that searches "buy colon cleaners online" or "best price xyz colon cleanse".. would need less information on; what, why and how etc etc on colon cleanse than the person searching colon cleanse. they have made up their mind that they want to buy and now its about where and how much. with them you need less "info" than those just starting their research.

the person searching "colon cleanse" includes some folks that might want to buy but also people that are just looking for info and starting their research and maybe considering it, which may or may not include buyers.
some maybe folks that want to learn about it and thats it. some may be looking to learn the benefits and decide its not for them.
so based on that you defaitely need more hits to convert on "colon cleanse" than you do to convert "buy colon cleanser online" or "buy a colon cleanse with a free trial" or any other "buying" keyword.

an offline example is... it would be easier to sell to a group of guys talking about where to buy a low priced honda accord... than it is to sell to a group talking about honda accords. youd have to approach more groups talking about hondas to make a sale than you would to folks talking about "where to buy a honda accord"

thats all im saying. the message to market should flow from where they are (in the search) to where you want them to be(sold)...

the internet is merely salesmanship in print. sales techniques and styles differ according to where the person is (buying, browsing, researching etc) in the process...

    1. Optin!!You are wasting your traffic, offer some free ebook or something. You then get infoseekers and chance to sell later.
    2. I would try different headline- try fear as a motivator. No colon cleansing = cancer or something. If you try this be sure to link to some credible source and a picture of a serious doctor. Remember headline is the most important piece in your copy !!! This is where you tell the person your main benefit.
    3. Paragraphs are too long
    4. not enough emphazising (bold, yellow, red colors)

Sure, there are points/grades of where people are, which is EXACTLY what I stated. However, the difference in keywords doesn't determine the person's state of mindset for buying at all. It determines the specific nature of the specific need they are looking to fill, NOT if they are informed nor ready to purchase or not.

That is a mistake to take that approach from a keyword itself, whether long tail or generic keyword term. To base a customer's buying charge from that holds absolutely no solid ground.

As for the marketing of information and taking control of guiding the customer into an ' information funnel ' and connecting that to a ' profit funnel ' by educating the client as to why your product is the best choice or not for them and making them have a final educated decision on the matter is the whole point.

It isn't all about getting every sale. It is about taking care of the customer. IF you take care of them, they will trust you to buy something you offer later if what they need and you are offering at the moment aren't the right match on the day.

To assume otherwise is asking for business failure, as you not only lose them for the sale today but any future sale of tomorrow.
