Looking for help writing a sales letter

Im going to guess artswerdtone has the answer to this. I have to sit down and write one of those long sales letters for a one page site for a product today. I am looking for the formulas for that.

I would assume there is a tool to help you do this. i.e. this section mention the problem, this section offer proof etc. Does something like this exist?

I have been reviewing some of the sites for products looking for a pattern but I am not sure which ones work the best.

I bookmarked a post a while back that was loaded with excellent graphics that would work well for this kind of thing.
