Hey,
I've tried 000webhost over 5 years, lately i get this error message:
Suspended (Suspended for violating 20%+ CPU usage limit for more than 1000 times. Please upgrade to our premium UNLIMITED hosting at www hosting24 com to get your account reactivated.)

3owl my site get redirected to 3owl site. I've google it and it seems that i've for overusing of resources (but there is nothing on the site, only the wordpress installation)
Doe's someone have wordpress site that actually works on free hosting?

Pls advice

Brooke

Wordpress is a resource hog so this may not work well on free hosts . Better get a cheap shared hosting and also keep in mind that with spike in traffic even shared host won't be enough.

Either pay for a webhost, or quit IM. There is no way you will make it if you are pinching pennies that hard.

Wow I second on this.

You've had free hosting for over 5 years? If you can't afford $5/month after all this time for shared hosting you're obviously doing something wrong.

I tried using free hosts for quite a while, trust me with how cheap hosting is nowadays it's worth a couple of $$ per month.

OK fair enough if you're not making money with these sites but I think you will struggle to find a free host that is reliable to keep a website up and running.

There are a few hosting companies which offer hosting for just $1 per month for a single site, I've never used them so I can't vouch for them but it may be worth a look. Some have been mentioned on this site but I can't remember the thread title.

I would have recommended yola but they have gone to hell, they have taken 2 sites of mine down without warning so dont use them whatever you do.

WordPress is resource hog script. How much traffic do you have on it?
Usually WP plugins can be the problem if you are using any.
My advice is to go with paid hosting. You will get better service and better support for sure.
